You'd Have to be a Homer!

You start a thread with an inflammatory post calculated to stir up other posters...then, when someone responds in kind, you put them on "ignore"?

If you can't take the heat for your inflammatory little post...why don't you crawl back to where ever you came from?

Inflammatory? Dude turn down your sensitivity meter...you sound like Al Sharpton. The observation I made was consistent with the facts...it was fair and balanced. If you take exception with the "Homer" label perhaps you are one. You might feel better if you admit it.

FYI: I do not crawl...I slither...much more stylish.

It is funny how they can call us names but when we literally do the same thing in reverse they appear to be offended.  That was what I was trying to demonstrate when I created the post in question and here they have demonstrated the point perfectly.

We are "homers" if we believe something.  If we call them "homers" we are mean spirited and nasty.  How ironic.  Yet another lesson in liberal-think demonstrated right here for free.  Of course, they still don't get it.

You can't win, Paleocon.  I have stopped responding to them both simply because of the fact that they dissect anything you say and twist it into nonsense.  I suggest you do the same.

and..this topic has served it's purpose, whatever that was and ceased to have any real substance.   For saying that I will probably be named a Homer but  I think it's time to move along.

Of course we can WIN!  We are the mightiest nation in the world.  We are the defenders of "truth, justice and the American way!"  We are unique!  We may not convince these two maladjusted "citizens of the world" but they will end up on the ash heap of history with their buddies if they fail to understand the greatness that is America!

Just as I expected.  Saying anything positive about America leads you to invoke the cry of fascism.  You just can't stand it that this nation is great and unique.  It obviously eats you up inside.

If it wasn't for this nation you would probably be speaking German or Russian assuming you weren't a denizen of the KZ or GULAG.

What has America ever done to you to cause your hatred of this great nation?

How sad that you don't know how great this nation is and how terrible a place the world would be without America.

I noticed that if you ask "Tree" or "Igmond" and difficult question about their position....they just drop the thread and start another outrageous one...without an answer.

What's your question boy?

Yes, they don't seem to like to debate.  Or they don't seem to understand what debate is.  It is NOT just saying it is so because they say it is so like they tend to do.  I think they fail to recognize the implicit assumptions of their arguments and then get offended when those faulty assumptions are questions or even pointed out.

This entire thread is a great demonstration of that.  It was started to tell us we were stupid to listen to Hannity and call him objective.  And when I pointed that out they seem to have been offended by my doing to them what they did to us at the start of the post.

Really, I deal with them the same way I deal with my 6 year old.  The only difference appears to be that my 6 year old eventually seems to learn the lesson.
