Greetings from the great state of Texas. There seem to be countless liberal and Democrat message boards out there so it was a pleasant surprise to find this one. I actually thought there used to be something out there called Conservative Underground....something to combat the terrible DU. I went there and it was some small message board, not the large and nicely organized one that I used to frequent. Sad...

I'm a 32 year old married male, father of 2 beautiful little girls and I'm in the insurance business. Yes, the big bad insurance industry. I look into my little girls eyes, then watch the news with Obama, Clinton and the whole liberal gang, then back into my little girls eyes and I'm terrified for them.

It doesn't help me to look on what is supposedly our side of the isle and see John McCain sitting there smiling and gritting his teeth.

Anyway, it's good to be here.

I have 3 young grandchildren, and I share your concern about the future of our country. As a matter of fact, I think you will find that the entire membership of our board shares your concern.

What kind of insurance are you in?  There hasn't been much talk about socialized health care, etc, lately; but it's great to have someone who knows a little something about insurance, generally.

I don't have kids, but I fear for the next generation, too.  Not so much for what may happen to them at the hands of government, but more for what may happen to their little skulls full of mush at the hands of educators.  But, since you're here, I fear for your kids less than others -- I'm sure you'll keep them grounded in reality.
