Would you vote for Palin for president?

Would you vote for Palin for president?

I like McCain - but for the purposes of this question, forget about him.  What I want to know is, given what you know about Sarah Palin today and if the election were 6 weeks away and if she were running against Obama, would you vote for Palin for president?  Why or why not?

I ask this because a lot of people are treating her as if she will only be vice-president - but there's a good chance she will actually be president.  What do people think?

You have nothing of any value to suggest that McCain will not make it for four years and i dare say he'll make it a lot longer than that.    That is such a transparent attempt.

But in answer to your question.  Yes, I"d vote for her In spite of the fact that i disagree with her PROBABLY on the illegal immigrant matter because she is a much better choice for president due to the proven fact that  she is more interested in what americans want and think while Obama is playing to his global audience.   Neither he nor his wife have enough belief in the goodness of America and the need for it to remain dominant in this world.    His past is somewhat secret and Mrs. Palin's life has been drug out before us all and to the chagrin of the left has been found more than sufficient in all areas or at least not anything that a leftist has any credibility in complaining about.

that's it in a nutshell.   Oh...and not to mention the fact that in the past history of the US, a governor's experience trumps the senators.

If McCain wins, he will become the oldest president in US history.  My concern about whether he will die or step down in the next 4 years is *perfectly* reasonable.

I have to admin I don't know her policy on illegal immigration.  I'm still filtering through the enormous amount of dross thrown out there by people that have a vested interest in her winning or losing.

Not sure where you are getting your data.  That's quite a claim.  I don't necessarily agree with it - but I'd sure like to see you back it up.  Honestly - and as I've posted elsewhere, I'd have a hard time voting for anyone for president that I'd never heard of 2 months before an election.  Guess you have more faith than me.

Here are brief references to what i'm talking about...Note i've given you a source that you may be more likely to consider in a good light than anything that i might find from say like a conservative leaning source or an historically accurate source for that matter.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/byron-williams/senator-may-break-governo_b_35506.html

and to be quite honest, i'm more than a little surprised that you seem unaware of this phenomenon.

I think we are having a miscommunication.  I'm not arguing that a governor/senator is better or worse - or that being a governor/senator has certain advantages/disadvantages over the other.  I thought YOU were arguing that history bore out that governors ARE better presidents than senators.  And that, of course, would be in the eye of the beholder.

Also, to be fully honest, I had no idea that only 2 senators (according to the link above) have ever gone on to be president - I'm going to have to check that information out further - because it is very interesting.

I really don't know why you're stealing Obama's artwork for use on the McCain/Palin team...Unless of course you now realize the fascistic quality of the posters.   Remember Team obama and supporter's CHOSE them.  You're just assigning them to those that never CHOSE this genre.

yup. between the two she's more forth right as to who she is, pragmatic with her policies, and deliberate in her execution. she's more accomplished. and she's actually lead a body of people.

I'm bringing these forward so that i can bask in the warmth of knowing that none, that means NOT ONE of these fake charges has stuck....ALL have been proven to be bogus.

Vastly different from the guy that we are assuming that you're supporting because Honestly you never mention his name...is that because you now realize that he does not stand a snowball's chance in hell??    Get ready for a McCain/Palin presidency.    What have you got planned for the day after election??    I think your head may explode.

These are SO funny.   You really are grasping at spider webs in the wind.
