I'll gladly continue the debate, but I must insist that my previous questions be answered first.
I did not ask for "proof" of Intelligent Design - I very clearly asked for the testable, and refutable hypothesis that the Intelligent Design theory attempts to either prove or disprove. This is not the same as asking for proof of the theory. It is an attempt to frame the debate in terms of SCIENTIFIC theories. A scientific theory, is, BY DEFINITION an explanation, supported by evidence, which seeks to prove a hypothesis. It is also, BY DEFINITION, testable. It is also, BY DEFINITION, refutable.
I have quite simply asked for a succinct statement of the hypothesis that Intelligent Design seeks to prove. An explanation of how this Hypothesis is testable. And, an explanation of how this Hypothesis can (in theory) be proven wrong.
If there is no such hypothesis that meets these requirements, then we are already OUTSIDE the realm of SCIENCE. I will gladly engage in a scientific debate. I will also gladly engage in a religious, or philosophical debate. What I will NOT do, is engage in a religious debate while PRETENDING that it is a SCIENTIFIC debate.
In other words, without a reasonable answer to my questions, I'm not willing to go any further in the debate - as it will not longer be a SCIENTIFIC debate.
I also asked for several pieces of evidence which indisputably support the theory of Intelligent Design.
-- Also, I don't mean to SHOUT, I'm in kind of a hurry right now & it's faster to ALL-CAPS than it is to bold or underline. Sorry, when I have more time I'll try to eliminate the All-Caps "Shouting". Sorry.
