Who is the Dumbest Man in America?

Postby paleocon on 05/08/08, 4:30 pm

Eyas voiced the opinion that Bill O'Reilly is the "dumbest man in America." That is a pretty tall claim considering all those vying for consideration for such an accolade.

The only problem is I can only poll on 10 names....

Vote for 3. You can change your vote if someone make a good argument.

It's a pretty tough list. They are all closely stupid and there are a few more that didn't make the cut but should have like John Kerry, David Letterman, and Howard Dean..just to name a few that come to mind. There are many more.
We've got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom--freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It's fragile; it needs protection.

I agree SoldiersMum. Howard Dean surely belongs in the top 10, and I would also add Jimmy Carter.

Well, your board only let's me choose 10 people for the list.  And besides, did Jimmah Cattah come back to America?  I thought we revoked his passport while he was in Syria?

It was a tough call, but I had to go with Franken. Only a true moron would run for public office and think that no one would consider checking his financials. You have to love the holier than thou attitude.

Rules are made for "the little people" and evil, nasty, corrupt Repbulican facists. Al, and his liberal buddies, are above such minor inconveniences as paying taxes and obeying "controlled substance laws."

I'm nominating Howard Dean, he ruined his whole campaign with his HEYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH thing. Now the Dems have put him in charge of the DNC. That's hilarious.

I voted for AlGore, even though I don't really believe he is the dumbest man in America.

I think that the dumbest man in America must be a conservative, a Republican, or at the very least a (shudder) "moderate".

Why? It's only relevant to question the intelligence of SANE people.

I don't think that intelligence is even a relevant question for leftists. It's akin to asking if Charles Manson is intelligent or stupid. Does it matter? He's batsh!t crazy!

I didn't even vote for AlGore because I think he's the craziest (though he may be). I voted for him because many years ago -- after attempting to read Gore's first book "Earth in the Balance" -- I identified what was wrong with this man (aside from general Leftist insanity)

He's a pathological liar.

If you've ever actually met someone who is a pathological liar, you'll know what I mean. This doesn't just mean that he's a big liar, or a good liar.

For example, Bill Clinton was an excellent liar. Hillary Clinton is not as good a liar. But both, like most people, lie about things FOR A REASON -- to cover one's tracks, to avoid blame/guilt, to gain something, to purposefully mislead others, etc.. And, generally, liars both good and bad are not confabulators.

Sure, we all make up phony excuses to cover our tracks sometimes; but the pathological liar is a confabulator. He invents elaborate fantasies about the world, and himself, for NO LOGICAL REASON. Not for gain. Not to avoid blame. Just because. That's what they do. And the stories they invent usually have ZERO connection to reality.

Liberalism IS a mental disorder. But, in addition, AlGore has a clearly diagnosible mental illness for which he needs treatment and possible institutionalization.
