why is it that our little leftist visitors cannot see what the liberals are doing to this country?    Do they think the leftist agenda is not going to affect them.   Are they so young they don't remember the Carter years?  A short four years but if you were living it, it was an eternity.

Good question; one I've asked before with respect to our Communist Party Congress-critters.  

Why can progressive/socialist/communist leaders (Senators, Congressmen, etc) not see what they are doing to the country?  How stupid are they to think that they will somehow remain untouched by the perverse consequences of Communism?

But they're the elite  -- things that apply to other people don't apply to them.  They're "Special" (referring back to my post on Narcissistic Personality Disorder).  They truly believe (ALL of them - not just Senators, but also journalists, professors, lawyers, and young pukes recently graduated) that somehow THEY will be part of some elite ruling class exempt from the hardships of Communism and Totalitarianism, and not standing in the bread-line next to you and me.
