I was booted off Ron Paul's forum all for ....

I was posting on http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=92551&page=7, Message # 67, minding my own business, when all of a sudden, Bam! Posts started pouring in under a thread: "Limbaugh says it is His program that motivated Paul to say he's a true conservative".

I, of course, being a long-timer listener, chuckled to myself and proceeded to help them out as best I could.

Things went from bad to worse when I explained to them the difference between a Republican and a Libertarian: That being a Republican is a Libertarian who has been mugged by reality, using Ivan Kristal's old definition of --- dare I say it, a "neocon" -- a liberal who has been mugged by reality.

Well, in the end, when I started asking all of these...well, what can I call them...the only word that comes to mind that remotely fits the bill is 'Bolsheviks': "If Ron Paul fails to win the Republican Party's presidential nomination, would they still support the Republican presidential nominee"....it was shortly after that I was banned from their site, without reason, forever.

I, of course, walked away from that site feeling quite please with myself.

Ah! Well, if you have been a conservative all your life, by definition, you cannot be a neocon.  A small point, I will grant you, and one that is completely overlooked by the Bolshevik-left of Ron Paul's Libertarian (with a capital "L") supporters. But it is a significant point nonetheless.
