Things like this are why I stand by my position that President Bush should be impeached, convicted, removed from office, and publicly hanged for treason:

A reader asked me to check into information that President Bush was pushing a massive foreign-aid package to Mexico to help them secure their southern border against the flow of illegal aliens from Central America.
“We can’t even get our own border straight, and we are going to provide Mexico with funding so they can solve their problem,” the reader fumed. “I doubt the Central Americans are staying very long in Mexico anyway. We know where they are going!”

Too outrageously outrageous to be true?

Well, I checked it out and it’s even worse than the reader described. Far worse.

The plan is called “The Merida Initiative.” Seems that the White House has had this plan in the works for nearly a year with little congressional input on either side of the border.

Yes I saw that on Michelle's site a few minutes ago. We have all but lost the immigration fight.

Oh, I definitely get it; but Mexico's southern border won't be "our" southern border for very long.  With CAFTA on the horizon, our southern border will eventually be Tierra del Fuego.

I doubt Hugo and several other hostile dictators are going to become part of the North American Union losing their power and their countries' sovereignty.  The socialist global designers would have to change the name of the NAU to just the American Union I guess if they moved our southern border to the very bottom of South America.  A more appropriate name would be the American Socialist States (ASS).

It might even be doubtful that Central America would become part of the NAU because of CAFTA since they have already united to form the System of the Central American Integration which already has a Parliament, a central Bank and a common market.  They might like being free trading partners with the NAU versus losing their sovereignty altogether by being a part of the NAU.  

Since I have a severe migraine because my brains are all over the wall, it's difficult to suppose anything except that El Presidente Busho es loco.

This is what happens when we compromise to get rinos in office. This is how they thank us.

The irony is simply too much to deal with.  I can feel the pressure building inside my skull now!  


I don't know if this is due to Bush being a RINO or not.  I mean, he is definitely not a conservative.  And he is a RINO.  But, this level of cognitive dissonance surpasses basic RINO idiocy by several orders of magnitude.  In fact, this may establish a new plateau, or rather chasm, in illogic.  

This is more like a "black hole" of reason when you examine it.  But to ponder this level of stupidity too long may in fact push one over the edge.  Yet, it is, in terms of sheer stupidity, magnificent in its adherence to the manifestly moronic approach that Bush has taken in regards to the border.  And by that I mean it is so consistent with his incredibly inconsistent policies on national security that it is a thing of beauty simply because of the fundamental insanity that obviously inspired and results from his border policy.  

Nietzsche would be proud!

Maybe this is the only thing Bush meant when he said he would secure the borders. He never really said which borders. It's like..what the definition of "is" is.
