Paleocon, this is just an example of what I meant in another post  when I said liberals just attack the people they are responding to.  

Pangaea, the Dems have accomplished making the economy the issue versus National Security.  Congratulations.  The market is falling apart because of the mortgage problem which was legislated by Congress and just exactly who is it that is in control of Congress?  Oh, yes, I remember..it's the Dems.  Oh, and yes, I forgot..all those people who took out loans for homes who couldn't afford to make the mortgage payment when their ARM went into effect..where is their personal responsibility?  The Dems' answer is to bail them out, put the foreclosures on hold..blah, blah, blah.  Why should I pay more taxes to bail people out who were not responsible?

What I cannot understand is how the Dems are the party of the rich in this country and you want to accuse conservatives of caring only about themselves, their money and not caring about our country.  You know that is a lie but yet you all continue to say it.  It must be #4 in your playbook.  Just exactly who is it that provides jobs in this country which enables people to live?  Is it the poorest of the poor?  Is it the illegal immigrant?  Since apparently you would like for it to be the Government, just exactly what is the product of the Government?  Are they making cars, food or furniture now?   What's the goods and services (besides entitlements)?  What the Government is doing is over taxing and over regulating businesses to the point where alot of them fail before they even get going.  Small businesses are the #1 employer in this country and they have to fight an uphill battle in order to survive.  

Your invoking Jesus into your dribble is meant to what..offend the Evangelicals?  Do you think every conservative is an Evangelical?  I hate to burst your little liberal bubble but not every conservative is even a Christian much less an Evangelical and not every Evangelical is a conservative.  Seems to me you probably don't have any clue about what Jesus would or would not do but..just so you know..Jesus loves you despite your hatred and your venom.

Yes, the dems are famous for stealing elections starting with JFK in Illinois in 1960.  It is a fine tradition continued by algore in Florida in 2000.  He didn't want to recount all of the votes in the states!  He only wanted to recount the votes for him!  What a fraud!  

And the market goes up and down all the time.  And the market is integral to the well-being of the country.  The financial markets messed up and are suffering from their mistakes.  That is what happens in reality when governments implement laws that make no sense and interfere with and distort the market.  Look at the history of the market and you will see that.  Do you expect liberals can pass a law and simply fix markets?   If so, I suspect they would have done so a long time ago.  

In 2005, 52% of all Americans owned stocks.  And it is a good thing for people to be interested in their investments because liberal promises that won't be kept when we retire are hard to cash.
