Did you hear about the two U.S. Senators who are trying to raise gas prices--all in the name of global warming?

Wait!  When did the number of IDIOT Senators trying to raise gasoline prices drop to only 2?  Yesterday there were dozens of them lined up to do so.  Clearly they did not all go away overnight.  I long for the days when only two morons in the Senate wanted to raise gasoline prices.

BTW, John Warner is obviously suffering from dementia.  He needs to retire from the Senate now!
He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.

JOHN WARNER is joining in this BULLCRAP NOW? Im so TIRED of RINOS endorsing CRAZY THINGS LIKE THIS. the REPUBLICANS are SUPPOSED to be the SANE ONES.

There is no GLOBAL WARMING, but EVEN IF THERE was, it wouldnt FIX THE PROBLEM. A DIFICIENT liberal SOLUTION to a PROBLEM that DOESNT EXIST! And a RINO is ENDORSING IT.DISGRACE to REPUBLICAN PARTY.
You know why we have a Second Amendment? In case the government fails to remember the first.- Rush Limbaugh

I think they are now calling it the Boxer/Warner/Lieberman Bill but here's the rest of those two senators who are co-sponsoring it:

Sen. Benjamin Cardin [D-MD]
Sen. Robert Casey [D-PA]
Sen. Thomas Harkin [D-IA]
Sen. Amy Klobuchar [D-MN]
Sen. Bill Nelson [D-FL]
Sen. Charles Schumer {D-NY]
Sen. Ron Wyden [D-OR]

Sen. Norm Coleman [R-MN]
Sen. Susan Collins [R-MN]
Sen. Elizabeth Dole [R-NC]
Sen. John Warner [R-VA]

Notice the absence of McCain.  He removed his sponsorship from the bill but was still supporting it.  He's now backing away from it a bit.  Who knows, by the time Nov comes around, what his position will be.
We've got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom--freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It's fragile; it needs protection.
