Tony Snow Dies!

Well, this is nothing less than I expected.  Tim Russert dies and the media falls all over itself in an attempt to canonize him.  Tony Snow dies a few weeks later and people start insulting him the day he dies.

I guess this is another example of liberal tolerance and compassion.

The AP just can’t help but take a swing at a conservative who just died:

With a quick-from-the-lip repartee, broadcaster’s good looks and a relentlessly bright outlook — if not always a command of the facts — he became a popular figure around the country to the delight of his White House bosses.

Tony Snow was a classy guy and I loved it when he filled in for Rush.
He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.

Let's see how many days of news coverage this generates.  How many people at CNBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, or NBC will spend more than 2 minutes except to make some snarky remark on Tony?  I am guessing exactly zero.  Can't you just feel the love?

It is disgraceful when someone tries to do a cowardly attack on the dead, who cant defend themselves. Tony Snow will probably get a couple of rude remarks. He will be laughed out of the news by tomorrow morning.

Tony was a true conservative, a role model father,  and a great American.  He was an excellent guest host on Rush's show.  Tony also was a man of strong Christian faith, and I know that he is now in a better place.

Roger that, Dittohead.  I expect Tony and my dad are getting to know each other now.

Here is a column he wrote for “Christianity Today” when he learned his cancer had returned:  http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/200 ... 25.30.html.

Reminds me of the Republican and Conservative response on the news of Ted Kennedy's brain tumor ... NOT.

Well, pretty much exactly what I expected from the BDS and "tolerant" segments of the DNC.  Can't you just feel the love coming from the DNC?  No, neither can I.

I believe Olbermann had one of his "special Comments" dedicated to slamming a conservative who attacked Kennedy at that time. Tomorrow, Olbermann will ignore Snow. He dedicated an entire week to Russert.

The comments on the link you provided are terrible. In contrast 98% of the comments on HuffPo are fairly positive. Most indicate disagreement with Snow but are saddened by the news and offer good thoughts and prayers for him and his family. I think this is the more common disposition.
