I think you meant to say ethanol here.

My deepest, heartfelt apologies.  Yes, I meant ethanol, not corn.

Funny how even the libs are recognizing that Ethanol, and biofuels in general are causing more problems in terms of a strain on the people's pocketbooks, for powering cars and what they put on the table. And the realization Ethanol costs more to produce, and burns hotter and therefore more is used. Also, the one small detail missed by those who advocate for E... not enough farm land available to produce the amount of corn needed to supply US energy needs... no kidding! Our local (Milwaukee, Wi) conservative talk radio person in AM quoted piece from NYT...sorry I can't recall writer's name. I checked around some of the lefty blogs... of course the most they usually had to say... Bush's fault!!

We have become a nation governed by idiots, both Dem and GOP, who think they are geniuses.  Frankly, I don't see how this ends well for anybody.

The fact that you can do something doesn't mean you ought to do it.  But, try and explain that to Bill Clinton. . . .

But, I am encouraged by the fact that people seem to recognize that ethanol is a mistake only a few years after we jumped onto the bandwagon.  How long before they realize this about social security and the prescription drug plan?  Any bets?
