I hope someone can help me understand why the drive by media is projecting that Dems will increase their numbers in the House and the Senate in November.  Even though President Bush's approval ratings are in the tank, the congress has the lowest approval ratings recorded in the history of the republic.  How does one reconcile these factors?

They use the theory that if they repeat something enough times, it will become truth and the sheep will comply.  Not only that, a huge segment of the population believes that since Bush is President, Congress is Republican.  Yes, they are that stupid.

I can help.  Its the fact that the Dems in congress are higher than the Reps in congress. when they pull us out of iraq and finally kill osama, their numbers will shoot evben higher. The problem with the GOP is that everyone knows that they are the cause of the nightmare situation we are in today. all that Corporate welfare, greed, corruption, and incompetance is going to create a super majority in the senate and house, not to mention President Obama.  
Obama has a vision while John Mcbush is more of the same.  even GOP lies will not convince the dullards this time. they learned their lesson the HARD way.  Stock market in the toilet, forclosures at hisotrical record highs, still in BOTH iraq and afghnistan with no end in sight ( under GOP rule of course. they need the $$$ generated from war, thats why they dont care to win or get out). Deficit Clock burning up the bearings, their policy of exporting jobs and importing crap made from child labor is no longer something they try and hide. gas prices, food prices, etc..etc... through the roof.  

The people see what total GOP rule has done and want to TAKE THE TRASH OUT !!

Well I'll give you this much, Obama has a vision. His vision includes higher taxes, less oil, more government regulation, less national security, conversations with terrorists, Medicaid for illegals, amnesty for illegals and a larger more intrusive federal government.

Lenin had a vision for Russia. Mao for China. Castro for Cuba. Pol Pot for Cambodia. Bin Laden has a vision for Islam. Ahmadinejad has a vision for Israel.

Having a vision for the future is not always a good thing. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

There are specific goals that each President lays out that he/she wants accomplished but if the legislature will not act on those initiatives then it will not happen. Two examples are; any proposal for drilling for oil in our borders has been blocked every time. Stopping earmarks from being inserted in bills has been blocked every time.
The process of making policies for this country has become the problem of this country.  Policies and the bills that implement them are no longer made to benefit the people of this country. They are written to benefit themselves and the ‘party’ and whichever group of buddies that gives them money, power or something else that they want.

= Rebuilding of military = large outlay of funds in short time period = more tax money needed = higher deficit.  It always cost more to rebuild as opposed to maintain.
Clinton cut CIA and FBI staff and support.
= Leaving country unprepared and unprotected = 9/11 attack = lost lives and huge costs to this country.
Democrats and environmentalist have stopped any meaningful avenues of energy independence since 1970’s
= Blocking any new oil drilling, blocking any new nuclear power, blocking any new coal exploration = eventual higher energy prices because we must import energy = increased national security concerns to make sure we can import that energy = government, business and people spend more just to keep status quo = less money being spent on anything else = less tax revenues = higher deficit
