Well, let's hope GOPER meets some nice young thing (any guesses as to his preferences for male, female or other) and completely forgets to return at the end of his vacation.  Think strains of "Wasting Away in Margaritaville..." and Jimmy Buffet.

I will be back. And as soon as you all relax as we get closer to the election, Rush will support McCain. Memories of the Amnesty Bill will fade. Memories of John McCain's Campaign Finance reform will fade, and then you will be easier to convince. Untill then, I think i'll go have that margarita.

Can't say we weren't warned.  I suspect most of your previous posts were heavily inspired by distilled spirits and that you are well acquainted with Jimmy Buffet's work.  I wonder if we will be able to see any differences in your posts when you return.
