My teacher made me laugh today

This substitute teacher, an old college professor (woman) and yea, shes pretty old too, shes a really nice lady, pretty easy to get along with and stuff.. but today we we're talking about uncontrollable things, and she was saying like how here in Florida, we have hurricanes, then she went on a little bit, then she said also stuff like global warmings, ohh boy did that ever get my attention.. she claims that the summers are getting longer, and its getting warmer during the winter.. umm ok lets completely discredit it has snowed in places it hasn't ever snowed, and in places it snowed, didn't it snow a hell of a lot more? Also when I was putting up a reasonable argument saying this stuff in a different way, she just said, well everyone has a right to their opinion.. I told my other conservative friend who I was sitting next too, "Guess I shouldn't ask her about the war eh?" well, I'm not gonna get into that but pretty funny story.

Of course everyone has a right to their opinion.  Conservatives' opinions are based on fact and logic; Liberals' opinions are based on feelings, and compassion -- pure unreasoning emotion.

I know. How do they know there's global warming? "Because the news and every T.V. show says so!", "Don't you know, all the glaciers are melting; AND POLAR BEARS ARE DROWNING!"

I love that one.  Allow me to make it clear: One CANNOT drown a polar bear!  They may as well talk aout drowning seals, or drowning dolphins.  "OMG, we're causing the seas to rise and drowning all the whales -- not to mention all those drowning sharks & fish!"

I'll say this: Everyone who belives in Global Warming is utterly RETARDED.  There's been decades since this became an issue -- plenty enough time for anyone interested to cure their own ignorance.  Ignorance is no longer an excuse -- it comes down to a lack of curiosity, a lack of education, a lack of rational thought, and a lack of intelligence.

Either that, OR an agenda to destroy free market societies with bogus claims of ecological armageddon unless capitalism is SHUT DOWN.

AAARGGHH!!  It's just too frustrating anymore to try to convince people with evidence, (real) science, or logic.  In 20 years, these clowns will be proven to be dupes of the hoax, just like everyone who belived in "Piltdown Man".

Well, at least she was polite enough to agree that you are entitled to your own opinion.  That in itself is amazing.  Normally, conservatives are NOT entitled to their own opinions if you ask most teachers.  Keep up the fight, man!

Yes, it is amazing that she would say you are entitled to an opinion.  Liberals only see freedom of speech for other liberals.  There are alot more teachers out there who would shut you down immediately versus allowing your opinion to be voiced.

Last week,  there was a major Global Warming conference in NYC attended by hundreds of reputable scientists who disagree with everything Algore represents.  In fact, the man who is responsible for the Weather Channel put out the idea of suing Algore to make them bring out the real facts in court.  The MSM did not cover this conference.  duh..surprised?

My daughter was attending a college Composition course and her prof made them all turn their books back in and used excerpts from the NY Times, the LA Times and Newsweek as their curriculum.  She showed them movies on what would happen to LA if all the illegals were made to go back to Mexico.  She showed them Algore's global warming piece of crap.  It was a huge indoctrination class into the socialist views.  My daughter, being a Rush baby, argued incessantly with this prof.  She is an A/B student and was getting a D in her class.  My daughter dropped the class at the last possible moment to keep her grade point average intact.  I'm moving to Colorado later this year and after settled am going to enroll in her class providing she's still there.    It should be very interesting to see how she manages to get me ejected from her class.
