Klein, Sharpton Partner on Racial Gap in Education

WASHINGTON — Dubbing it "the odd couple," the city's schools chancellor, Joel Klein, is teaming with the Rev. Al Sharpton to push for a national commitment to closing the achievement gap between white and minority students.
Pointing to statistics that show black and Hispanic students lagging far behind their white counterparts in test scores and graduation rates, Mr. Klein said the achievement gap had "barely narrowed" in the more than five decades since the Supreme Court ordered the desegregation of the schools in the landmark 1954 decision, Brown v. Board of Education.
The only problem is that Al's paln will almost certainly demand that we dumb down classes for over-achieving kids so they score lower and graduate less often. Does Al realize that asian kids outperform white kids? If so, he will be all for dumbing down their classes and imposing graduation quotas on them too! Look out. The scams begin anew!
