I'm with you !!

I HATE the fact that innocent taxi drivers, farmers, and shop keepers will finally get a chance to PROVE that they are NOT enemies of this country after they were turned in for American bounty 7 years ago. JUST AS THE CONSTITUTION ENTITLES THEM TOO.

If they are terrorists, then it should be a breaze to prove it, wouldnt it? Or do they have NO EVIDENCE other than they were on a street in their homoe town when we waltzed through ???

You people MAKE ME SICK!!! you should be kicked out of this country on your a$$e$.

Unalienable rights are a natural condition of man...of all men (and women) period. This is supposed to be self-evident. A choice to ignore this for anyone is the first act of a tyrant and a characteristic of cowardice or ignorance in the extreme.

This kind of ignorant post shows you have absolutely no understanding of what is going on in Afghanistan or Iraq.  I suspect you don't even know how many unlawful combatants are now or were ever held at Gitmo.  The constitution give NO rights to unlawful combatants captured on the field of battle.  If you had any sense you would realize that.  

As for who should come and go, you seem too ready to throw people like me out of the country and open the doors to illegal immigrants and terrorists apprehended on the field of battle.  I suppose that makes sense in your mad little world.  However, the very people you want to protect would remove your empty head from your shoulders with a rusty spoon at the first opportunity.

You seem to have never read the actual document.  Go back and read the preamble of the document and see who wrote it and who it applies to.  It is pretty specific about the audience.  

"We the People of the United States" , in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.


The authors were not so vain as to presume they were establishing conditions for the self-governance of goatherds in Pakistan.  

Try reading and understanding a complex document before you try to interpret it.

No "document" is necessary to understand man's natural rights. My rights are a condition of my humanity, I need no document to know the truth of it as it applies to all human beings.

Oh, I see.  You are a cultural imperialist.  You would force people who reject the very idea of rights to accept the fact that you can force them to accept any rights you claim.  Now I understand you a little better.  

I am sure the mujahedeen will now lay down their arms and embrace the enlightenment and grant their chattel full and equal rights and ratify the American Constitution immediately.

I am an objectivist fan of Ayn Rand. I would not force much of anything on anyone less its potential adverse affect on my natrural rights. This would properly take into account the abhorent behavior of the Taliban and others like them.

Thank you for the info...I was unawre "mujahedeen" was still being utilized. I thought it was what we called them when we were arming them. The differing terms help one see them more clearly in time.

Its just too bad that we are NOT talking about enemy combatants. we are talking about INNOCENT people held for YEARS without a trial to determine if they are indeed enemies of our country.  they were TURNED IN for american $$$ or in the streets of their OWN COMMUNITES which WE MADE A BATTLE GROUND !!  if you had any sense you would realize that !!

FEAR FEAR FEAR. Unlike YOU , i am not afraid of my gardener, dish washer, or maid and any terrorist that is in this country should be delt with.  However, those of you that prefer to crap on the founding document are not worthy of its protections.
