It's funny how GOPER referred to McCain as a conservative in previous posts, yet in this one, he labeled him a moderate conservative.
"He, as a Loyal Moderate Conservative, voted against many liberal appointments."
It's interesting how he says McCain/Kennedy was not amnesty when clearly it was. Apparently, he thinks none of us did any diligence to actually read the bill.
It's ridiculous when he claims McCain/Feingold has stopped campaign finance fraud. McCain/Feingold enabled the 527s like MoveOn to come to the forefront and now George Soros can put as much of his money as he wants to into supporting Obama, his chosen one. Plus, bundling is still going on and is just a peachy way for Obama to accept money (unless they are found out and proven to be bogus}. I won't include McCain into bundling since he's not getting much money. He's too stupid to see that sticking his finger into conservatives eyes won't get him any campaign contributions.
The fact is this..McCain will bend over to the Democrats on whatever the issue so that he can claim he crossed that aisle. The bills he has collaborated with them on have all been hugely swung to the left by his Democrat counterparts.
So, he can make any statement he wants to make about how conservative he is. He can say he will appoint conservative judges, he can call now for drilling, he can say anything he wants to and guess what? We are not going to believe a thing he says. It is more important for him to be that Maverick aisle crosser than it is for him to maintain any conservative principle.
Oh, and one more thing, the term Ultracon used by GOPER does nothing for me except give me the impression he hates conservatives as much as McCain does. Conservatism is a way of life, an ideology. It does not get more conservative as in "Ultracon." It is conservatism and John McCain is not a conservative.
