Hi Eyas and SoldierMum,
I agree 100 % with both your statements!!

It's that 80% - 90% of the American public has NO CLUE that this just happened; let alone what it means.
Yes, and think about how many would know anything about anything if they get the Fairness Doctrine into law.

In the Senate, John McCain helped to confirm conservatives Antonin Scalia, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas. He, as a Loyal Moderate Conservative, voted against many liberal appointments. As a member of the Gang of 14 he helped in many ways to confirm several Conservative Justices.
Let's win a victory this november, for the Right to Life, let's win one for Freedom. Support the Republican Party this November.
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

This would be a good time to point out that John McCain has repeatedly failed to respect the pledges he made each time he took the following oath of office where he said:I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
Yet, he has assaulted the first amendment and refused to secure our borders against foreign enemies. Clearly Senator McCain broke those pledges. Clearly Senator McCain will break future pledges.

Actually the events I speak of happened fairly recently. I know McCain would like to forget McCain-Kennedy of 2007 infamy but it is kind of "out there." And McCain-Feingold became law in 2002. No need to go back 25 years to see his most egregious broken pledges.
