Despite the FACT that the CIA has stated that Plame was in fact covert, the myth that Plame was not covert just keeps getting bandied about by these armchair pseudo patriotic head nodders drooling on their AM radio dials.

In FACT, watcher is right and you have presented opinions.  But to help, I have presented a link quoting several relvant FACTS incluind the statement from a Congressman where the CIA admitted to him that they could not yet respond to a Congressional inquiry as to the status of Valerie Plame as late as April 2007.  In other words, a month after Libby was "convicted" of an act committed by Richard Armitage the CIA could not tell Congress whether Plame was "covert" or not.  Furthermore, Fitzgerald knew that Armitage was the "leaker" before he ever prosecuted Libby.  Shades of Mike Nifong.

These are facts and you can check them out here.
