Get the Valium and the smelling salts--apoplexy is among us.
OK----I give up! Rush and other wealthy conservatives are doing everything in their power to stamp out liberals. The Heritage foundation and other conservative groups are working hard, carrying the message, and winning converts to the cause. I'll sleep better tonight.
I do not understand how you can not see that it is quintessentially LIBERAL and unconservative of you to think you have the right to tell Rush, or anyone else, what they ought to do with their time and money. It has nothing to do with your "free speech" but rather your thought that you have a right to demand something of someone just because they have an abundance of time or talent or money. Does the phrase "from each according to his ability" ring a bell with you? Who said it?
How do you know that Rush isn't funding projects at The Heritage Foundation or National Taxpayer's Union or elsewhere? How do you know he is not providing money for programs at Liberty University or Biola or Eastern Missouri State? You cannot know what he, or anyone else, is doing and therefore to demand more of anyone because you think they have more than some arbitrary amount goes against the very essence of everything conservatives believe. Again, how you can not see that is beyond me.
