Rush Limbaugh believes in hate crimes?

All,

I've been seeing some coverage recently of Rush Limbaugh coming out and saying that he things we might need to go back to segregation.  I believe (strongly) that he's being sarcastic - that what he's really saying is that Obama is bringing about a nation where segregation may be necessary.  I don't believe for a second that Rush would ever say that segregation is a good idea (he *might* believe if - but he's never say it - he's just not that dumb).  However, in playing the audio files of him speaking on the subject, I'm sort of taken aback by how much he seems to imply that the black kids on the bus attacking the white kids was racially motivated and, therefore, a "hate crime".  He doesn't use the words "hate crime" (i don't believe) - but he seems to imply it.  Can someone inform me?  Does Rush believe in "hate crime"?

Thanks!

I have to agree with Wayback2002 on this. I could not believe Rush is bigoted or prejudice because if he were, he would not be as successful as he is. People of sound mind and reasonable disposition do not follow the rhetoric of lunatics. However, sarcasm is a media tool to produce a shock factor that aides in word of mouth distribution of a message. I recommend that anyone with a question listen to what Rush has to say and decide for yourself. Do not let hear say or word of mouth that can distort the point make your decisions for you. If you allow that to happen you will be mislead by mis-information. Wayback2002 is right in his opinion and agree that Rush was not doing what simple minds would argue.
