Richard Rahl's fight against extreme liberalism/socialism

Richard Rahl's fight against extreme liberalism/socialism

After re-reading an IBD healthcare article (http://www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticle ... 8135202343) I got to thinking about a book series I read a few months ago. I'm talking about Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. I've got to ask, has anyone else read it?

This depicted a TRULY conservative-minded leader that faces the extreme ends of liberalism/socialism as military powers, jihadist individuals, and ideologies. This is a rarity in this genre, but if you like Rush, admirable, interesting characters, a suspenseful plot, and a world that requires a creative imagination, then I guarantee you'll like these books.

I'd like to hear some people's thoughts on them that are of a similar persuasion (ideologically) to myself, as there are few people I know that fit the bill for that and have read the books. If someone wants a run-down on the story, I can give a summary and hits some highlights here. So, let's hear it.

I'm reading Atlas Shrugged and that will probably keep me busy for the next 6 months because it is so thick..  Atlas Shrugged by Ann Rand was on a bookshelf when I was a girl and I never read it.  It is pertinent to today so I went to a used book store and bought it.  I've never read any of the series you are talking about but I'll look for them when I'm done with AS.  Thanks for the advice.

A vote for the Obama ticket is a vote for Socialism. America is already lock-stepping into that abyss. The chanting of Obama's name, the indifference to character, no policy except to raise taxes and to provide a Govornment teat for Americans to suck on.
