Rhode Island Oks Voting Rights for 2 Mental Patients

So, who do you think they will vote for?
R.I. OKs voting rights for 2 mental patients
Providence, R.I. -- A State board has ruled two men
found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity should
be allowed to vote.
John Sarro and William Sarmento have been confined to
the state mental hospital since being found legally insane
in the 1980's for separate murders. Cranston's board of
canvassers ruled last year they were too mentally ill to
cast ballots. But the State Board of Elections ruled Wed-
nesday there was no connection between the men's
competence to vote and insanity findings!
We've got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom--freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It's fragile; it needs protection.

I wouldn't worry too much.  People are kept in mental institutions until they show that they are not "a danger to themselves or others".

By this definition, ANYONE who casts a vote for Obama should be institutionalized.

I recognize the silliness of the decision to let them vote; but, really, what greater harm could they do than the millions of supposedly "sane" who will cast their votes for Obama?

Take a good look at what LIBERALISM does to the brain.
You know why we have a Second Amendment? In case the government fails to remember the first.- Rush Limbaugh
