Oval Office Sofa Sitters Wannabes

Oval Office Sofa Sitters Wannabes

Postby USNcitizen on 08/14/08, 8:24 am

ALL:
As a newbie, I would offer the following:
Who is going to run the Oval Office, executive West Wing, if Mr. O succeeds in attaining the Presidency?
This question continues to elude Rush, O'Reilly and the rest of the Conservative group. The DNC, Mr. Obama's staff, the Democrat Web sites, all have various positions, less bios, attached to the future admin. There is very little data on the biographies of the "future" Sofa Sitters. This is my focus.
SO. To open my newbie forum. I would welcome bios, comments, and opines on these folks, if we can id some of them. It is never too early to learn who is to control and run our lives, if Mr. O wins.

This really needs to be moved to a topic. This is a welcome thread.  Maybe one of the administrators could move this.

I PM'd Admin earlier today to move it, since it's a good post, just not posted where it should be.    I'm not able to move it so that he/she gets credit for the post so ADMIN will do it.  People should wait until it's moved before posting comments.

Continuing the Thread.
As the August Convention descends upon the USA, we will be inundated with rhetoric, vague and non commital statements re: the Future of the Obama Presidency.
What will be occurring, in the non smoke filled back rooms, will be the cutting for jobs in the West Wing.
These positions, jobs, staff admin appointments, will be the source of the 100 day legislation effort and the transistion teams implementation of the Future Obama's USA.

In My Opine, the issues count, the details count, the Logistics, all count. BUT the folks that garner these positions will have the final say on the implementation details. These folks' philosophies, ideas, agendas and desires will be the New Rules and Regs the USA will have to live with for at least 4 years.

Therefore, it is REALLY important to know who they are. The blessed Internet has bios galore. These folks love to spread their histories, conquests, resumes and in a lot of cases, private lives, across the net. The data is there to garner. Now, the task is HUGE. Not only are there a lot of folks, but the competition to be on this next Admin is fierce.

There is always, an inner cadre of Oval Office Sofa Sitters. These folks are the funders, the major players from old Leftist Organizations, and the like. They have the Obama ear. Obviously, they are not seeking publicity, nor open bios. But the Grunts, the Second tiers are available. Remember, making legislation is like making sausage.
You dont want to watch the process.

More Bios to come, as this thread will be going on til we, the Conservatives, either win or deploy to Canada.

If Obama wins, the next President of the U.S. will be Gyorgy Soros standing invisibly right behind the annointed one.

As far as the sofa sitters go, here's some of the possibilities:

Secretary of State - John Kerry

Secretary of Defense - Dick Durbin

Attorney General - John Edwards (sex doesn't matter when you are a Democrat)

Secretary of Human Services - Caroline Kennedy

Secretary of the Treasury - Charlie Rangel

Homeland Security - Christopher Dodd

UN Ambassador - Bill Richardson

Secretary General of the UN when it is the US's turn - Bill Clinton (anything to get him out of dodge)

Supreme Court Justice - Hillary Clinton (anything to get her out of his hair)

~~~~~~~~~~~
None of these people will probably be sofa sitters except Charlie Rangel.  Since Obama is a racist, his cabinet will probably be filled with alot more people who aren't so pale.  Members of his cabinet will also probably be people no one has ever heard of and consequently, there will be a need to try to get bios.  But..don't worry.  They'll give us what they want us to know about these people...and nothing more.
The cadre that will consist of Obama's Cabinet, inner circle of advisors, and prominent West Wing Staffers is HUGE.
The R and D so far, lists over 150 folks that could reasonably be in this group. They range from Grunt Bloggers, to DC insiders with a sprinkling of unknown academias. A really diverse group.
Running thru the lot, are the 60's activitists, left over from LBJ days, and the Nam protesters. These folks seem to have the money.
There are Hard Core Left groups, that are actively publishing the need to get thier voices heard in DC. Seems this is the Achilees heel. Jostling for position, pushing agendas, left over angst issues, all are surfacing as the Coronation of Obama seemingly looms closer.
IF Obama actually wins this, it will be a circus, come November. The agendas, issues and anti Bush rants will be out in plain sight. Out Conservative views will never make the MSM, let alone be a factor in the upcoming Obama Admin.
son of a gun, soldiers mum beat me to it AGAIN.  WOMAN you are good.    EXCELLENT potentials.  But just think of the HOST of his unknowns (to us now) that are sitting there behind the scenes that are going to be filling in the assistant spots and deputy this and that.   I suspect there will be a ringer or two.    This will not be the America we know or that we will ever want to know.
So what do you think his chances are.  Some say that old democrats are NEVER going to vote for a black guy.   Race means TOO much to them.   Some say we are due for another carter.   And BO is another carter times three.    Personally, i am NOT discounting Hillary just yet.   ANYTHING can happen at that convention.
I think you may be spot on on that Soros thing.   He will be Obama's Karl Rove only much worse than Rove was ever considered to be by the leftwing whacko conspiraloons.
If John McCain chooses a conservative as his VP, he stands a chance.  If he doesn't, if he chooses another RINO or a pro-choice person, he will hand it over to Obama.  I've actually heard rumblings that if he chooses the latter (especially Lieberman who is a Democrat in everything but the war), they might even take the nomination away from him at the convention.  I do not see that happening; it's probably wishful thinking on someone's part.
USNcitizen is right.  Forming his cabinet will be a free for all; but first, he has to get thru the convention which is also going to be a circus.  I think HRC still stands a chance at winning this thing.  It's obvious who is wielding the power right now so they probably have something on him.  If they do, Barry can agree to the moon with the Clintons but whatever it is will still come out.
Expect to see a new, certified, official (but forged again) birth certificate come out as soon as he comes back from Hawaii.  That would solve one of his problems; however, I'll bet the Clintons have dirt on him regarding drugs and his sexual proclivities.  His mentor was communist Frank Marshal Davis who was a known pedophyle who favored little brown boys.  He admits in his book that Davis gave him alcohol (a known strategy of pedophyles) and then there is that Larry guy who apparently didn't flunk that lie detector test afterall.  I'm just saying that Obama shouldn't count his chickens before they are hatched, espcially when the coop tenders are the Clintons, masters of slime, dirt and sleeze.
That is a good question.
Several names come to mind. Nancy Pelosi is one. She sure seems like she is auditioning for the job with her death grip on the House but she is a female so that makes me wonder if she would be picked.  Looking around the world, you don’t see to many women holding onto a huge power successfully for very long. Tyrannies, dictatorships, communism leaders all seem to be men. Socialism is another story but again history proves that it not sustainable and always slides into communism or dictatorships. History also shows no female leaders of socialism but that is probably more due to where women stood in society than anything else. Pelosi does not strike me as someone who would be willing to sit behind the green curtain. She would want to be the Wizard. Front and Center. She likes the attention too much.
Gyorgy Soros is someone who doesn’t really seem to crave the limelight. He has his hand in scores of groups that have socialist tendencies and we probably only know a quarter of what he is controlling. He is getting up there in age but still seams to be able to wield power pretty darn well. There would be a power vacuum at some point because the man will become weakened at some point if not mentally but physically.
Empire Obamassiah is definitely playing the part of the wizard but I’m not sure he will be able to maintain the image under close examination under pressure. It won’t take much more than another ‘Dorothy’ to get him so flustered that he will mess up so they will have to replace him pretty quickly. Soros will always stay behind the curtin. This is where Nancy Pelosi might come in.  She will want more power then Speaker gives her.  She will end up with something.
That may be where Hillary comes in.  Were she stands in all of this remains to be see. We known she can lead the orchestra from the podium or behind the curtain. She is a believer in socialism in theory.  I don’t see her wanting to be the ruler of a weak country so I am at a quandary as to how far she would push this country into true socialism.  I don’t see her giving up her senate seat.  She can stay in the forefront better.
As for the rest heres my best guess.
Chief of staff - Robert Gibbs
Secretary of State - Susan Rice
Secretary of Defense - DAVID BONIOR, D-MICH or Lawrence Korb
Attorney General - Charles Ogletree
Secretary of Human Services Valerie Jarrett
Secretary of the Treasury - Jeffrey Liebman or Alan Blinder
Homeland Security - Christopher Dodd or Mike Strautmanis
UN Ambassador - Bill Richardson
Secretary General of the UN when it is the US's turn - Tony Lake
Supreme Court Justice – Don’t have a clue who he will nominate
Head of CIA John Brennan
EPA - Daniel Esty
It's been said that Vatican Council II (in the Catholic Church in the 60s) was not all that liberal, but that the committee members who did the implementation were. I believe that's the type of thing that USNcitizen is talking about - not the cabinet positions, but the radical troops that will actually run things on a daily basis. Not that Obama isn't liberal, but he has guarded his tongue over the years.
So yes, many radicals will be seeing this as a chance to finally get a position of power. Obama has effectively got himself set up to where anybody who criticizes him will be branded as a "racist".  He'll likely be the first Affirmative Action president. But that umbrella will not shield all of the smaller fry. I myself have been telling people that it's the gang that Obama will be bringing in that will do most of the practical damage. Just think of who Michelle Obama will be bringing in, in order to get even with whitey for some imagined harms. Those people won't have guarded their tongues over the years so much, and are open to being exposed for what they are.
Note to USNcitizen: this is the best thread I've read here, because it gives a possibility to discredit/defeat Obama even despite his legion of worshippers in the media. But I almost didn't read it because of the title :)  If it gets moved, how about a different title?
P.S. What do you think of Dick Morris?  hehe...
