Oval Office Sofa Sitters Wannabes

I wonder if Pelosi is thinking about a cabinet position of somekind under obama?   But then,  on second thought i don't think so.  She is not one to share power.  Even with her approval numbers at 9% she will NOT give up or in.   She may even be a worse task master than Obama would ever consider being.  Do you really think Obama has the potential as a leader ( i don't) or is he looked at as someone that OTHERS may be able to use.

This Soros thing.  What is with men who seemingly enjoy wielding power behind the scenes.  Where's the satisfaction in that?

I agree. THis is a delightful topic and one that at first seemed to be easy to overlook.    Now we're cookin.

I'm from a mostly white area of packed in small towns. At least 1/3 of whites are ardent reverse racists, eager to show that they are "caring" for the supposed downtrodden. At least 90% of local media are worse reverse racists. They all will support any black at any time. When Obama says "some won't vote for me because I'm black", he's getting away with crap because so many more whites will vote for him just because he is black.

I supported Alan Keyes way back. I oppose Obama because he and his gang are awful reverse bigots, besides being liberal wackos.

All
As a Newbie here I am impressed.
1. The research quality of the replies is evident. You folks have done a LOT of work
2. The decency depth is amazing. Lots of sites go off on personals, lose the thread and end in chaos.
3. Finally, the replies open up, for me, a host of R and D possibles.
As to the title change, I use the Oval Office Sofa Sitters, as way of describing the Onion that Obama has around him. There are multiple layers of his Machine. The final, but probably not, the most inner layer will be the Sofa Sitters.
In My Opine.
We have one behind the scenes individual, with His Organization, that will ultimately run the Exec Office. Mr. George Soros and his OSI operatives. This is a whole nother layer  and onion in itself.
Immediately in front, as we open the Oval Office, are the "Left Organizations" with thier agendas. So, from outer to inner, the onion is full of opportunists, Lefties, Congressional leads, Old Time Activists, et al.

In the final analysis, If Mr. O runs the Clinton gamlet, the Convention gamlet, the Campaign gamlet and pulls off a narrow but legal November election, the Rules and Regs we currently live under will change IMMEDIATELY>
Our Norman Rockwell USA will fall apart so fast it will be apparent that the Money Folks IE the Wall Street Brokers have fled with their cash. I certainly DO NOT believe our Heartland Electorate will allow this.
From the Ridge on the Big Muddy, as far as I can see, no one is going to vote for Mr. O.
Let us continue to educate where we can, just as this site provides and pray.

Sir:
Did not get the name.
Re the topic.
1. Geographics seems to play a role in this. Here, the tolerance level for skin tone is high. The competition for Local guvmnt is fierce, and race baiting is tolerated and soon forgotten.
2. As to the idea of guilt playing a role in selecting a black president. This too seems to be geographical. For instance, Vermont, a 99% caucasion state, has a high guilt content. Those folks seem to bear all the ills of the 19th century, having been the first to abolish slavery, in the US, or so they claim. While here, in the really deep South, guilt or the idea of guilt, seems to have been washed clean years ago. Now folks just have to deal with the reality of living with different cultures, which doesn't seem to upset too many.
3. Across the River, into the Western Deep south, it is a bit more raw. Political Correctness never has caught on.
However, respect plays a big role here. The cultures live amicably and honorably. The idea that Nature and Hard Living takes precedence plays a role

But, back to the subject. An individual electorate voter, will vote based on his own perception of race. Upper Midwest, Deep South, New England, we all veiw this differently. I have pity on the pollsters trying to make sense and prediction out of all this.

Vermont heh.  True.  THey have some kind of problem and it might be interesting is someone could analyze that and tell us what the heck they're thinking.    I don't even like the STATE anymore.
But they're not alone...you oughta visit Harper's Ferry WVA.     This must be the home of ancestral carpet baggers.  Not only do they bask in the glow of loving tender care to minority issues, they make a hero out of a murdering lunatic, john brown.  They equivocate about his role.   They can't seem to recognize that murder is murder.   Brown even killed blacks when he came to town to do his dirty work.    Nobody asked the victims how they felt about Brown using them for his purpose.

I'm sorry i am off topic.    So back to this Obama sofa sitters.  You know what I found so funny?   Tim Kaine, wild eyed and wild haired  virginia governor and leftist came out and sucked up to Obama and supported some fantasy idea that the russians agreed to a ceasefire after Obama's comments.   He sorta sunk his own VP aspirations.   He shoulda stayed off television but everyone wants to get on the bandwagon.

I remember a story from the first week or so of the Clinton years. A fairly high military figure from the Pentagon went over to the White House as he always had done. A mid-level Clinton official intercepted and rebuffed him, saying "we don't even talk to the military here".

ALL
I would offer this, re: the possibles for the Oval Office.
1. We probably agree that the Funders, IE George Soros and OSI will be the power behind Obaman
2. There will be the Old Guard Lefties in positions of Cabinet level. My R and D showed these folks are just sitting there waiting for the inaugeration
3. There will be Agenda Issue folks, like Code Pink, Center for American Progress, Congressional Moveon, all these folks will staff the West Wing. Truly a crowd, diverse and at each others throats.
Now, I came on a Progressive NewNation Article.
Essentially, the doubt of Obama's election is over. They believe it is in the bag. Therefor, the article presses on with IMPLEMENTING their agenda. Take no prisioners, elbow, push, shove and get the issues on the Legislative tabel ASAP, was the thrust of the article.
If, this DNC Convention, with the Clinton's taking 2 out of 4 nights, then we may see a Dems disaster in the making.
That is, the Achilees heel may be the desire to run the show. Who is on first, Why is on second and What is on third, the old Abbot and Costello routine. The Left is notorious for being Independent. Each cell organization wants to be at bat. No one wants to be on defense.
I am watching the Cards MLB game on the side.....
To close, We need to focus on the Transistion teams, the 100 day Teams and the Inaugeration Teams. These are the folks that will survive the in- fighting and be on the Oval Office Sofa, waiting for Mr O and Mr S to tell them what to do.
