Gov. Ted Kulongoski plans to issue an executive order todaythat he says would "dramatically tighten"restrictions on Oregon driver's licenses and make itfar more difficult for illegal immigrants to get one.

Under Kulongoski's order, which would be subject toapproval by the Oregon Transportation Commission, licenseswould be issued only to those who have valid Social Securitynumbers or who can prove they're in the countrylegally. Driver and Motor Vehicle Services officials wouldbe required to verify the Social Security numbers, whichcurrently is done only for commercial drivers.

Its only a matter of time now and all states will have to get out of the business of granting licenses to illegals
