Only In It For The Money

Postby austin bo on 02/15/08, 12:57 pm

Far right wing politics sells easier than far left wing politics, because most people on the far right don't think for themselves. They believe, without thought or analysis, what their preachers tells them, what reactionary leaders tell them, and, of course, what Rush tells them. Rush does say, after all, 'let me do your thinking for you'.
This is why Rush is so successful. He knows he could never make is as a left wing commentator. Too many people on the left actually THINK. Of course, Rush would choose which ever side can make him the most money.
Of course, Rush doesn't really believe anything he rants about. He lies, distorts, and panders to the prejudices of his listeners.  IT SELLS.

Out trolling today, austin?  Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent.  Therefore, austin, stop talking about yourself.  You know nothing about conservatism, those who are conservative or Rush.  If you are an American, austin, then you should believe in freedom, liberty, truth and the constitution.  Instead, you believe in socialism and/or communism and wouldn't recognize truth if it slapped you in the face.

The people on this forum believe in the United States of America.  They believe in the shining city on the hill.  They believe all people should be free and they believe in personal responsibility, not Government ownership from cradle to grave.  Rush has never said "let me do your thinking for you."  Rush says..here's the truth.  I am telling you the truth, do not doubt me.  Now it is time for you to make your own decision.

Perhaps you should take some time to listen to him and then perhaps maybe you will know the truth.  He does not want the United Socialist States of America and neither do we.

This is why Rush is so successful. He knows he could never make is as a left wing commentator. Too many people on the left actually THINK.

Right.  People on the left think "change" and "hope" will save the day.  Just exactly what is the change and hope?  What's the next sentence?  The next sentence is:  The Government will be happy to take care of your every need.  You don't have to think.  You don't have to work.  Big Brother will be happy to add you to the flock of sheep standing in line for the next hand out.  America is bad.  We will fix it so everyone loves us.  There is no terrorist threat.  The Government will sing the freedom fighters  kumbaya and they'll love us "again."

Rush could never make it as a left wing commentator?!?!?!?!?!?  Just exactly who is the liberal radio commentator who has achieved the success of Rush?  Just name one..just one.

Of course, Rush would choose which ever side can make him the most money.

Rush does not sway, stray or leave his conservative principles.  I know this is foreign to you since liberals will lie, cheat, steal, say anything, and do anything to get power.  You really should worry about how much Rush makes because you should want Rush to make even more money since the more he makes, the more the Government takes and the more you probably get in some form of a liberal entitlement.

What???  First you say that none of us can think or form our own conclusions, now you are saying he's only saying what we think.  Get a grip, austin.  Figure out how to have a real conversation instead of writing a ridiculous thread where you know nothing of what you are talking about.  Do some diligence and see if you can "think."  See if you can analyze how much you'll be able to live on and whether you'll have enough after your cronnies have taxed you beyond anything you've ever seen to give out all those handouts they're promising.  Try to read the constitution and take notice of how your socialist idols are trashing it and your freedoms.  Grow the heck up, austin.  Become a real freedom loving, liberty loving American.  If you don't figure out what exactly the United States is all about and what the founding fathers put in place, you will be with the sheep, not us.  We will be in the re-education camps you people will throw us into because we love our country, our freedom and our constitution and we will not sell out our principles to join your flock.
We've got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom--freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It's fragile; it needs protection.

This thread is a riot.

Rush knows how to trick people into believing anything. "Let me tell you what to think." Yeah he sure does say that, and it's hilarious.

And Austin doesn't even GET that the joke's at his expense!

The other day I was on another website I visit that has a lot of international members. Someone came on there and mentioned that Rush is endorsing Barack Obama! It was so funny!

Wait, he forgot to insult "right wing extremist Christians." The talking points are that we are "easily led." How did he overlook that? He is off the talking points. Somebody tell him what to think...

Don't worry paleocon.

I'm sure he'll come back in a week or two, filled with righteous indignation that we dared disagree him, and then in a dramatic exit, he'll explain how he came here with an open mind but we are too stubborn to debate.

Then he'll find some other conservative website to troll and the process will start all over.

Well, I suspect that they will be upset that he has strayed from the official talking points for insulting "mind-numbed, right-wing extremists." They really hate it when someone varies from the official party line, even if by accident. The party demands heterodoxy and the consequences of deviation from the official party line can be most unpleasant. If the party believed he had a soul I would pray for it.

The REALLY ironic thought is that Rush couldn't make it as a "left wing commentator."

IS THERE A "SUCCESSFUL" LEFT WING COMMENTATOR ON TALK RADIO?  Isn't the idea itself oxymoronic?  As opposed to left wing commentators who have demostrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are simply moronic.
