Republican Sen. Wayne Allard cobbled together what he said were all 111 of Barack Obama’s economic proposals into an amendment to the budget Thursday.
A vote for the Allard amendment would have been a vote for Obama’s economic proposals, which Allard was trying to point out, in the most basic way, are too costly.
The vote was 99-0, with Obama voting against the amendment. Republican presidential candidate and Arizona Sen. John McCain was not present to cast what would presumably have been a “no” vote.

I see Juan (alone) missed the vote.
Must've been inspecting border fence.
Hillary voted against Obama's economic plan, too.
Not big or comprehensive enough, no doubt.
It will be interesting to see how the Denver NewsPost covers their senior senator.
"Tawdry political tactic, staple of GOP attack dogs..." is my guess.
