Obama Misspeaks about all kinds of things

Obama Misspeaks about all kinds of things

There are some excellent examples of Obama's rhetoric in this article.

Plutarch warned, "The real destroyer of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations and benefits."

This speaks (or misspeaks) for itself.

If by "misspeaks" you mean "lies".  John McCain lies.  A misspeak is Obama saying there are 57 states, when he meant to say 57 states and territories.  A lie would be, well, watch Mr Spock's video.  Now THOSE are LIES.

SoldiersMum, it seems like your biggest concern about Obama is that he is pro-choice.  We have huge problems in this country, and I think you really need to look at the bigger picture.  And everyone knows that Roe v. Wade will never be overturned for the simple fact that the Republicans are consistently able to manipulate concerned people like yourself into voting against the Democrats on just that one issue.  If it goes away by making abortion illegal, how will they get you to vote for them anymore?  It'll never happen.  We need to concentrate on education and public health services to decrease the number of abortions, not legislation to further opress women by making them criminals.

You've also expressed concern that he will dismantle our military, but really, come on.  Look at what the Republicans have done to it.  Our soldiers 1) have to buy their own body armor, 2) have too few vehicles that have been up-armored, 3) are being given contaminated drinking water by a US contractor (Halliburton), 4) are being electrocuted in their own showers by a subsidiary of that same contractor (KBR), 5) don't have enough ammunition, 6) can't get decent and timely medical care, 7) are exhausted beyond our ability to understand by the extended, repeated deployments, 8) have been infiltrated by white supremacist groups enlisting just to get the weapons training...  the list just goes on and on.  In short, our military has already been dismantled.  By the Republicans who have been in power for 8 years.

Look in your heart.   It's time to vote them out.   Before we all go over the edge of the cliff.
