The Marxist/Socialist premise is that success should be punished whilethe non-producer heaps the rewards. I can’t think of a single countryin history that has succeeded by governing with those low standards. Ican’t think of a single person who has grown one ounce of pride byliving "up" to those pathetic standards.

Michelle Obama and her Marxist husband want Oprah to "give up a pieceof her pie". The first problem I have with that statement is that it’snot a piece of pie that Michelle wants from Oprah, it’s more like halfof it. But why stop there? As long as someone is allowed to decide howmuch of our money we are allowed to keep, why not take more? 500million dollars is still more than any one person deserves to have,right? Why not take 90% of her "pie" and leave her with 100 million? Aslong as you Marxists insist on allowing government to take control overour lives, given unlimited power, I would not be surprised if one ofyou tried to take that much and more…

Good post! We are in big trouble folks when government starts deciding how much profit you can make.

Apparently all these super rich people like Oprah do not think that socialism will apply to them or they have funneled their profits thru the Caymans or other loopholes.  The fact that Ophra supports Obama says to me that she's a racist because it is the color or his skin that is driving her support.  She's profited by millions of whites and by capitalism.  How is it she can support the Marxist simply because he is a black man?

This is similar to something I've said elsewhere, though not as well you did.

There are elites in this country who seem to favor communism because they somehow assume that they will become part of the ruling elite under communism.  This applies to Communist politicians, and also to people like judges, and college professors; and even the average new college graduate shares this belief that they will inevitably become part of an elite that remains untouched by the oppression of communism.

Of course, they'll be standing in the bread lines right next to you & me.
