The Gross National Debt:

Obama Bankrupting Coal, And then some.

Obama said with his own big mouth, that he would end the coal industry... that was just a few weeks before he told the coal unions he was "their best friend".  Yeah, if you don't want to work.

Coal, like nuclear, can be/is a clean, safe fuel but like all fuels, liberals won't to destroy it and make American some 3rd world country.  That way the "world" won't be envious of our success and hate us so much.  It's all our fault, don't cha know.

When he becomes President, he's going to reissue a new Executive Order banning off shore drilling.  I'll bet it will include not allowing anyone to build another clean coal plant too.  His motive..kill the economy.  Why?  Sal Alinsky's rules.  I keep posting this over and over because it has so much meaning in Obama's overall plan of taking us down the path of no return.

Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future.

I believe you're exactly right, SMum.   In fact, I would be very surprised if that doesn't happen.  Socialism must destroy the U.S. and Obama is the man to do.  All those poor, foolish people who voted for him, will be surprised when their taxes go up too.

Well, of course they did, and one of the reason some are losing and have lost their jobs.  Being a Republican doesn't make someone a conservative.  Conservatives are capable of understanding that government bailouts were and are WRONG.  These companies need to declare  bankruptcy like big boys and girls.  But, you have to agree, that it's the Dem party that is full of Socialist, like Obama, who doesn't like the free market place, i.e. captialism, where we have our freedoms to gain individual wealth and prosper as people and a nation.

People have to be real nimrods to vote in their own misery & demise, by electing Obama and a house full of liberals.

I live in a county of Utah with two coal burning power plants.  Our air is clear and good to breathe.  Nearly every citizen in this part of Utah is employed, in some way, by and because of 'evil' coal plants and coal mines.  I know that when the Obama gets his way with his agenda, my home county will be hit hard.

I'm afraid it will be.  Obama doesn't care about productivity, fuel, citizens or the country - socialist are incapable of caring about those things.  He, and all the Libs, are concerned with making us a socialist country.  No coal, no gasoline....   just dependent on the 'government gods' for our daily bread!!

And you should keep posting it at every opportunity.  I've used it twice: once on another blog, and once in an e-mail to a friend, and both times I had to come back here to find it (I finally got smart & copied it myself).  But it's the one quote that so succinctly sums up what "Radical" "Progressives" are all about, and straight from the man that many of them consider a "mentor".

Now, there's this from Gateway Pundit:

EPA Ruling Puts 100 New Coal Plants in Jeopardy

You knew this was coming...
Environmentalists successfully blocked coal power plant development due to concerns over global warmingon Thursday.
They didn't have to wait for Obama-- they went ahead and blocked construction of new coal-burning power plants without him.

This is despite the fact that for the second straight year the Earth has, in fact, experienced cooling... not warming.

US Climate Ocotber 2007-November 2008

Up to 100 coal producing plants are now in jeopardy.
Wired News reported:

The fate of scores of new coal-burning power plants is now in limbo over whether to regulate heat-trapping greenhouse gases.

The uncertainty resulted when an Environmental Protection Agency appeals panel on Thursday rejected a federal permit for a Utah plant, leaving the issue for the Obama administration to resolve.

The panel said the EPA's Denver office failed to adequately support its decision to issue a permit for the Bonanza plant without requiring controls on carbon dioxide, the leading pollutant linked to global warming.

The matter was sent back to that office, which must better explain why it failed to order limits on carbon dioxide. This is "an issue of national scope that has implications far beyond this individual permitting process," the panel said.

EPA spokesman Jonathan Shrader said the agency was reviewing the ruling by the appeals panel, which traditionally gives great deference to agency decisions.

Environmentalists and lawyers representing industry groups said the ruling puts in question permits - some being considered, others approved but under appeal - of perhaps as many as 100 coal plants.

For the past 30 years Democrats have successfullyblocked US energy production.
It looks like this won't change anytime soon.
