I am a Rush fan but a Huckabee supporter!  Can I still post?  Having listened too Rush since 1994 and knowing Mike since 1995 am surprised Rush does not like or know Mike better.  When I listen too them both speak or talk about issues they have much more in common than you would think.  They just approach the issues from different angles Rush talks about things and Mike does things.  I do not say that to put down Rush we need folks who talk about issues and get our ideas out there but we also need folks like Mike who are willing to put their rear ends on the line and run for and hold office to push forward the conservative agenda.

I am not  a Huckabee supporter as I don't think he has conservative ideals at heart.  When I hear him speak, it sounds a lot like what the libs are saying.

Don't get me wrong, he seems like a nice enough guy, just not the guy we need running the country in my opinion.

I don't think Rush and Huckabee agree on a lot of things.  But that doesn't make Rush or Huckabee bad people.  I would love to have dinner with Rush.  It would be one of the highlights of my life.  I wouldn't mind meeting Huckabee and I suppose we have a lot in common.  But, that doesn't mean I'd support him for president.  But, if you do, fine.  Just don't expect to see a lot of folks here agreeing with you on that issue.
