I agree with bedbug; but you could try this:

Next time your "friend" asks you what's wrong with Socialism, ask him how much he's worth -- both in income and in property.  Then, if he's worth more than you, ask him to make up the difference between your respective net worths by sending you a check.

(If you're worth more than he is, just pretend that you're not -- it won't matter, as he won't put his money where his retarded mouth is, anyway)
