Latein yesterday’s news cycle it was widely reported that Sen. Bob Dolewrote a letter to Rush Limbaugh stating his support for John McCain andadmonishing Rush. This was widely reported as great WWII hero endorsingMcCain and telling Limbaugh he was off the reservation.
This isfurthest from the truth and McCain and the media know it. Both Dole andRush have publicly denounced this attempt by McCain and the media toelevate their darling candidate.
Dole on Hannity and Colmbs was askedby Clombs “Do up have a preference between McCain and Romney? Doleanswered, “I don’t have anybody in this fight”. Limbaugh read theletter on his show, on many issues Dole disagrees with McCain, noendorsement.
The McCain campaign and the media is responsible for misusing a WWII hero for what they perceive as their own gain.
