LOL, we're taking the "borg" reference quite seriously here, aren't we? The "hive mind" concept is something that's main stream enough that people could pick up on it. It's a theory taught to kids in science classes. It's mentioned in documentaries, fictional books, and even the Bee Movie. I didn't think you guys would hang on the trekie reference, but I guess that works for a lot of people too.

After some consideration, MHO is that the hive mind is too self-sacrificing of a model. The lefties don't start up social programs for the good of their intended constituents, despite mouthed intentions. It's mainly a play for power and securing that power. I'd say their more like crack dealers than a benevolent queen trying to make sure her spawn continue on.

Lefties are more than happy to give away other people's money and call it "charity" or "redistribution of wealth." (I have never heard a more unAmerican phrase than the latter.) Their programs are purposefully designed to undermine individual accountability, advancement, and responsibility, making targeted demographics depend on them.

Perhaps we should go for something along the lines of democrackmongers, or puppedealers. Looking for a play on the phrases "crack dealers" and "puppet masters"...

Do NOT dismiss the "Borg Awareness Diagram," human!  Great minds are never appreciated in their own time.  The things Zefram Cochrane had to endure....

“You and I know there has been no greater threat to freedom in our lifetime than communism. But many people do not.
And so our foundation has undertaken to educate this generation and future generations about the history, philosophy, and legacy of communism” Lee Edwards

Right here in the good old US of A. First on the Internet and then a building in Washington DC.
This is going to really p**s alot of people off but this may actually be what I can call real Hope and Change. Maybey we won't need the Borg or the Hive afterall.

Mr. Edwards has written several wonderful books on conservatism and he helped build a monument to the victims of communism not far from the capitol.  He is also a very nice man.  There are some billiant minds working at The Heritage Foundation.  Much of their work is available online at their website at www.heritage.org.  Tell them PaleoCon sent you.

And we NEED the BorgAwarenessDiagram!

Now, i know that you are all comitted far righters , but these harsh personal attacks are not necessary. We need to be respectful of our opponents (at least as long as were not behind closed doors) and not use harsh terms like "communist" and "marxist". We need to Unite the country around the GOP, not divide it. We need to be the "bipartisans" otherwise the Deomcrats will take that message away and win elections! cant you see, its l9ike Rush said, its about winning!!!

John McCain is not a "socialist" as some have suggested. John McCain has many conservative free mmarkest stances like health Care.

Support the Rebublican Party in 2008 and make Ronald Reagan Proud!!!!

I will respond to your messages in other topics a posted ASAP, dont have time right now, busy with other GOP functions.
Join your friend phxcon, who now is proudly supporting John McCain, The Republican Nominee, for president!!!

Far Righters supported Richard Nixon, Jerry Ford, and Bush Sr. and Jr., all moderates. Now you should support John McCain and Compromise!!!

Man, someone has been dipping deeply into the kool-aid.  I swear these posts are generated by computer drawing on a list with three columns of buzzwords.

  • "Unite the Nation with Bipartisan Diversity!"
  • "Victory Can Unite the Diverse Bipartisan Nation by Winning!"
  • "Celebrate Unity by Exclusively Point Out Our Diversity!"
  • "Winning by selling out core principles is NOT defeat!"
  • "Let's outspend the Marxists!"
  • "Far Right Talk Radio Types can be insulted with impunity!  We only need to dupe a small percent of them to vote for our socialist candidate anyway!"
  • "Properly identifying your adversaries is not good when your own candidate agrees with them on so many major issues."

This is fun and we can play along at home and not have to worry about all those boorish people who attend "GOP functions."  See how many GOP Talking Points and McCain campaign slogans you can generate this way!

And once again, I'll remind you that the spellchecker in Word is the F7 key.  Learn to use it.  Let it be your friend.
