Israeli-Palestinian Truce broken by evil joos

Israeli-Palestinian Truce broken by evil joos

Well, actually, the truce was broken by Palestinian rockets, one of which hit Prime Minister Olmert's Office.

Amazingly, this is the TOP STORY on Drudge -- highlighted in Red and with large font at the top of the page.

My question is this: Is this actually NEWS?

Is there someone who was NOT expecting this result at some point.

Rockets hit Israel, which says truce broken 7 minutes ago

JERUSALEM - Police say two Palestinian rockets hit southern Israel and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office says the cease-fire that took effect last week has been broken.
A small Palestinian militant group in the Gaza Strip says it carried out the attack to avenge an Israeli military raid that killed one of its members in the West Bank early Tuesday.

The West Bank is not formally part of the truce. But Islamic Jihad says it "cannot keep its hands tied" when its "brothers" in the West Bank are being targeted.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says the first rockets to hit since the truce landed in an open area and no one was hurt. There's no word on how Israel will react.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.
JERUSALEM (AP) — Police say two Palestinian rockets hit southern Israel and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office says the cease-fire that took effect last week has been broken.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says the first rockets to hit since the truce landed in an open area and no one was hurt. There's no word on how Israel will react.

There has been no claim of responsibility for the rocket attack, which occurred hours after Israeli troops killed two Palestinians in a West Bank raid.

The West Bank is not formally part of the Gaza truce. But the Israeli raid could be perceived as violating the spirit of the cease-fire

Of course a cease-fire would not work.

Until a person wants peace nothing will change.  Until a people stand up for themselves instead of allowing others to do it for them nothing will change.
This has been going on for hundreds of years. You have a small portion of a nationality continuing to keep conflict imposed upon the rest.
There are way to many Arabs who live to hate. There are just too many Arabs that live for no other reason but to fight. There are also too many Arabs that believe that their brand of religion is the only way and if anyone does not agree with them they must be killed. Then you have the Arabs that insist it has to be their leader to be in charge or you must die. Then you have all of the Arabs and others that are making money from selling arms. Then there is ….. the list goes on and on.

The lands of the Gaza Strip, Palestine, West Bank, East and West Jerusalem The Old City, all of the land, that could be shared by all of the people of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. All living together, working together, praying separately if they really wanted to.

I am amazed that the Israeli’s have just not given up and taken them all out.  I don’t think I would blame them one bit at this point. How many chances does one have to be given to live along side others in peace and share a land before one starts to believe that you really just don’t want to?

I wonder what would be able to accomplish if they could manage to keep peace and stability in the region for more than a couple of days.

That would be real news

What amazes me is how the Left in this country find it so difficult to distinguish the good guys from the bad guys over there.  The Anti-Semitic Press(AP) always somehow finds a way to blame Israelis for the rockets that land on them.

[SIZE=9pt]I accept your initial conclusion that this is not news.  Arab terrorists in Gaza have never stopped firing rockets into Israel at civilian targets in spite of numerous "truces."  News would be if they stopped firing rockets.  The fact that they continue to fire rockets incessantly is not news.

[SIZE=9pt]I wonder what Bush’s response would be if Mexican’s were doing the same thing to ranchers in Texas?  I wonder what ranchers in Texas would do?  Frankly, I suspect they would get their rifles, hop in their F150s and take a little road trip hunting for mortar tubes.  And I suspect our Border Patrol agents would arrest them when they returned.

[SIZE=9pt]Hamas has no intention of accepting Israel’s right to exist and they will continue with their terrorism until they succeed in destroying Israel or Israel elects a PM who will clean out Gaza once and for all.  I will not shed a tear when that happens.
