I was watching a debate over the web the other day and the "friendly Muslim" representative kept proposing the "hypothetical" that was "what would be the response to violent threats from Christian or Buddhist" extremists.  And the two others panelists kept responding that there couldn't be such a response as only Islam reponds in this manner.  And they kept demonstrating how Christians and Jews and Buddhists have been continuously insulted for decades and NEVER responded violently.  But the "friendly Muslim" hack kept insisting that it could, hypothetically happen.  

People just don't get the point.  There aren't gangs of "militant" Jews or Buddhists or Christians running around burning people alive, or cutting off their heads or blowing up themselves in neighborhood pizza parlors in Teheran.  The "friendly Muslim" groups and the MSM want everyone to think it happens or at least that it could happen but in fact it NEVER happens.  

There is something unique about Islam.  And that unique fact is that Islam is NOT a religion of peace.  They see it and they know it but they won't admit it.

I recently found what I think may be the scariest website I've seen.  It's http://theamericanmuslim.org and it's mission is to speak out on behalf of "moderate" or "mainstream" Muslims.  It is ostensibly "dedicated to the promotion of peace, justice, and reconciliation for all humanity."  They claim to "Provide a forum for and encourage inter-community dialogue particularly on divisive issues, and to encourage interfaith dialogue to find common ground for cooperation on issues of mutual concern."

Take a look at some of the articles.  If you can tell me what's wrong with the group of articles as a whole, I'll give you a gold star.

The entire website http://theamericanmuslim.org proves that the "moderate" Muslim is indeed a mythical creature, like the Sasquatch, or Yeti.

The apologetics offered by "mainstream" Muslims is, I think, more frightening than the words, threats, and propoganda of so-called "Radical" Muslims and avowed terrorists.

Well Eyas, I dunno if I can give a good answer to your challenge. I tried reading a few articles and they were so bad I gave up. I can tell you one thing, they're on a mission to villify American conservatives.

The entire site is apologetics.  Every article is an attempt to demonize critics of Islam.

Not a single article, that I could find, that addresses (or even acknowledges) Islamic terror.

What scares me is that this site claims to represent the "moderate" American Muslim.  No one taking a stand against Islamic terror.  The entire site is dedicated to trying to divert attention from the ACTUAL problem by making spurious claims against critics.  If this is TRULY the view of the alleged "moderate" American muslim, it is PROOF absolute that there are no "moderate" Muslims -- so-called "moderate" Muslims apparrently are ready to look past Islamic terror, and if they don't actively support it, they, at the very least, condone or tacitly accept the Murder and torture of non-muslims.

It is good to see this thread alive and well, again.

The "religion of peace" at work again.  I am sure the martyr is now enjoying his 72 virgins.  I just hope they are all male virgin pigs!  

And does his family really expect us to buy the line that he was just a nice boy and never, ever spoke of Gaza and wasn't a militant?  No, he was a nice kid who just happened to pick up a pistol and dozens if not hundreds of rounds of ammo one day and go on a rampage to kill Jewish kids in a school.

Nothing to see here.  No connection to Islam or terrorism.  No reason to stop the "peace talks" with the "moderate" Abbas government.  Business as usual in Palestine.
