1. But when will this freakin Immigration Bill finally be dead already?
2. ( I ) , *The Great CWN*, have made statements, that if Bush gets this passed somehow, by hook or crook.
3. He will for sure be thrown under the bus.
4. His name will be mud in both party's then.
5. Not to mention all the fence sitters, Independents etc.
6. Unless this Bill gets crushed and soon Bush and Congress in general will be seen in a far different light.
7. WARNING: DO NOT PASS THIS BILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really wish he was up for re-election.

All of the republicans know what a big issue this is with the base, and still they proceed.  I really am at a loss for why this thing is still being discussed.  The negative effects on our country would be enormous, and it would most certainly break the bank from the social programs these people would now qualify for.

I hate that many conservatives always starts the counterargument ... "I'm not saying we should send them back"...

Why the hell not, they are here illegally!!  They have no respect for this country or our laws, and should be put on the first boat back to where they came from.  Why is this so hard to understand???  It's much cheaper than making them all legal and providing them with welfare, education, and health care!!!!

I just can't figure it out, will sombody please explain why in the world President Bush is for amnesty.  It just boggles my mind, maybe I am missing somthing but I just can't see any reason at all for his backing this bill, it just doesn't make any kind of sense to me.  I want to know what he has got to gain by getting this bill passed.  Has he made a deal to get half of Mexico if he does or what?  It just makes no sense at all.  So sombody please help me out and explian this whole mess to me,

I think Rush has the best answer that I've heard, but I'm still not satisfied.  Basically it has to do with Bush believing it's the right thing to do and feeling it's his place to fix the illegal alien problem.

I am still baffled that Bush could come to the conclusion that the best way to solve the problem is make everyone legal.  It's pure insanity.....

Hi everyone, As I have said before. Congress is not representing us.

They just do not get it and it is time to change these people that will represent the people. We want the Borders protected. We want illegals gone (not only Mexicans) there are others here illegally. We want them to come to America the same way millions of them did in the past. Why do we always have to blame the United States. Is Mexico doing anything to stop them comming across?

Elect people (both Parties) who get the message in the next election. The present crew in DC all have their agendas and not our welfare or interests at heart.

They just do not get it, They will not admit what the word illegal means. and continue to find excuses for these people to stay here breaking the Law of the Land. Cheap Labor?????? Who is paying for their health problems, Who is paying to educate their children, Who is providing law enforcement to those who break our laws?, and then they have the nerve to tell us that they are cheap labor and the cost of our produce will increase when we try to put it on our table. There is no thing as cheap labor, it is VERY EXPENSIUVE labor. I read just today that another hospital in California is closing because it cannot afford to treat illegals free of charge any longer.

Wake up America, we can no longer afford to sit by. Insist that your Representatives and Senators do what they are supposed to do and that is to represent YOU and not their political agenda.

And for those of you who will call me a raciest, All I want is the Law of the Land enforced and I have no trouble with who ever wants to come to this great Nation.
