How to stop global warming

The "Maunder Minimum" is really another name for the "Little Ice Age" that hit Europe from the 16th to 19th centuries.  This includes the "year without a summer" - 1816 (caused by the eruption of Mt. Tambora) -- and, funnily enough comes right after what was called the "Medieval Climate Optimum" -- when Greenland was "Green" and Vikings (from realms N. of 55 deg. Lat.) managed to conquer pretty much all of mainland Europe from Spain to Russia.

Remember the Painting of "Washington Crossing the Delaware"?  Has anyone from Jersey or Philly ever seen the Delaware River like that?  Allow me to answer -- NO, you haven't!  Nevertheless, that's the way it was then.

Of course, the "Medieval Climate Optimum" was not so long ago changed to the "Medieval Warm Period" so as no to imply that warm was optimum (i.e., that warmer is better).  Now, climatologists have changed the name AGAIN, to the "Medieval Climatic Anomaly" to remove any reference to its warmth, and certainly any reference to its benefit to mankind.

The sinking to the depths of the Little Ice Age took 100 years, and is ABSOLUTELY tied to the number of sunsposts.  The term "Maunder Minimum" refers to a minimum of sunspots -- not temperature -- even though they clearly ended up being the same thing.

Anyway, this isn't even a full blown Ice Age, which, as far as we know, could begin NOW.

Aaugh,.. forget it.    So many things to say about "Global Warming" I would bore everyone to post it all.

Short & sweet -- Global Warming is, and has always been, BUNK.  This is simply more evidence.

You know, I have been chilly the last few days.  I better run out to Wal-Mart and buy 200,000 sweaters.

Here is an interesting article which credits the sun as being the overwhelming contributing factor in global temperature change.

Peer Review!  Peer Review!  It doesn't count if it hasn't been peer reviewed!  Or was that Pear Reviewed?  Geez, after all these posts I can't keep that straight.  I still think I like pears better than most of my peers...

It's funny, I was just watching a show on the "Little Ice Age" on the History channel on Friday.  They said three things about the cause of the "little ice age":

1)  reduction in solar activity, specifically sun-spots -- including the Maunder Minimum occurring at the coldest part of the "Little Ice Age".
2) increased volcanic activity, putting more sulfur-dioxide in the air, which reflects solar radiation; and
3) a "theory" -- substantiated by ZERO evidence -- that the "thermo-haline conveyor" shut down because of fresh water runoff from glaciers & ice caps caused by melting from the "Medieval Warm Period" (now called the medieval climate anomaly).  This is the same unsubstantiated theory that Global Warmists believe may spark a nw ice age -- and was the premise of the ridiculous movie "The Day After Tomorrow"

So, in other words, they presented:

1) A well established cause with excellent evidential support
2) Another well established cause with excellent evidential support; AND
3) A crackpot Global Warming hypothesis

Guess which one they spent the most time talking about?

Now living on a farm in PA.  There are pear trees called "Comice" pear.  They're awesome, you should try one.

Also, the greatest name of any pro-football player:  Peerless Price.  Of all the stupid names people give their kids these days, I gotta hand it to Price's parents, they came up with a great one.

I bet all this scientific debate and "consensus" b.s could be resolved if we just asked Peerless Price to review all scientific theories.  I mean, he's peerless -- no further review necessary.

I am convinced that swine flatulence is the key to global warming.

The only problem is that we cannot effectively deal with all the swine in Washington, DC.
