Haditha....

Accusations??????

NC! Those whom say they can see clearly are yet so blind. Blink a few times to clear your eyes. It's happening right in front of you and since your a Republican, you look the other way. I don't attact nor make accusations of people, they do that to themselves. Facts. Sen. Criag got his retraction of his guilty plea denied. What about Foley-Gate? Delay's drying tactics! With a signature of his crooked pen, Bush left millions of children behind, again.
Better yet, I'll turn my first assignment over to you:

Have an open mind, read, and invesigate. Once you have done those as I have been doing, then you can have "your own thoughts" from those three. Facts, not thoughts nor accusations nor attacks, facts.

Throwing accusations that all republicans are child molesters makes you (like my use of red??) look ignorant.  Like a typical liberal, you can't complete in the arena of ideas, so you resort to tactics like accusing republicans of being child molesters, and not caring about children.  That's an old tired playbook, and we all know better.  That's a sign of two things to me:  One, you're intellectually dishonest; and two, you don't have any interesting thoughts of your own.

If you want to have an intellectual debate, you need to act like you have an intellect.  If you can't articulate a logical point then we really aren't interested in speaking with you.

Here's your first assignment.  Learn some manners, and debate like a responsible adult!!

I believe it is helpful to attempt to keep the discussion more coherent and enlightening by avoiding name-calling and bringing up totally unrelated topics.  For me personally, the discussion of Haditha is now centered around the abhorent behavior and statements of John Murtha.  Will he be held accountable for slandering the young men who made the decision to serve their country, including you and me, in a manner that demands great sacrifice, dedication, and loyalty?

Stop for a few minutes to think about what that might mean for each of you personally to be willing to make the same decision, to sign the papers, and to take that oath -  to be willing to put your life on the line for your country and for your fellow citizens.  Can you imagine yourself doing that?

Don't believe for a minute that spouting off here anonomously, doing "battle" with others about your sometimes strange perceptions of truth and fact might be, is exhibiting your devotion to freedom.  I wonder why people seem to take the service of the young men and women in the military so lightly and so much for granted.

Try to imagine the damage, harm, and insult you might feel if you gave it your all in loyal and faithful service in the defense of this great nation and saw your fellow Marines killed and wounded, only to be so thoroughly convicted prior to any evidence being heard, by a member of your own government.  That is justification for indignation.

The words spoken so convincingly by John Murtha surely persuaded many of those who wanted his story to be true and wanted to join him in condemning these young Marines.  And, Murtha's words and this story absolutely gave encouragement and justification to those who hate America (and you) and who were thrilled by the destruction of the Twin Towers, and who want to kill the Marines (and you).  Can you join me in condemning John Murtha and recognizing that he is a flawed human being who is willing to do these things and say these things purely for his own political gain?  Is that not obvious to everyone?  Just because he is in the House of Representatives doesn't mean he is there out of pure devotion to duty and for the benefit and security of you and me!
