So one is to assume that you are in Iraq?  Somehow I do not think so. You insult the person who took the time to post a personal statement by a military member about how they felt about this country as being boring. You call others who feel the same way, whose feelings of love and pride for this country are demonstrated by waving this country flag and praying for the ability to follow and/or support those who have gave and have given to be a fake patriot.

You do not understand. Ignorance stems from a lack of education. Stupidity stems from a conscientious choice of not being educated.

Patriotism is something that comes from a deep understanding of the extent of sacrifice that one has give so others may benefit. It is the knowledge that freedom is not free. It is the sense of self, how great one single individual person is and it is the ability to be humble in that greatness.
It is an undying faith in the belief that the actions of strength, honor and courage in a time of strife and adversity as well as in peace and prosperity will make a difference. It is the goodness of character of men and women who have come before us and it is the hope of that same goodness of character that is yet to born that makes one a Patriot.



You live in this country, enjoy the freedoms of this country and benefit because of the sacrifices of others that not only made this country great but have keep her free.

Try educating yourself first. If you chose not to I would suggest that you move.  There are several other countries in the world where patriotism does not exist. It’s not allowed because you are not free.

I posted this thread.  I am soon to be 60 years old and female.  Do you think they'd like me going over there?  I'll sign up if they want me but that's the problem, they don't want a fossil.   My son has gone twice.  Do you not think that my living through 27 months of his deployments is enough patriotism for you?  How about the call I got from the Army that my son's vehicle had been hit by an IEU, he'd been thrown from his gunner's turret and was unconscious?  Was that enough for you?  

Are you a United States citizen?  If you are, why do you criticize anyone who would want to celebrate the Freedom and Liberty this country has provided to you and your ilk?  If you are, my son has provided you with the freedom to speak out; but just exactly why are you un-American in that you would criticize anyone who would say something good about our country.

On Independence Day, I was very depressed and felt like I should be wearing a black arm band in mourning for what you people are doing to my country.  I decided to look for things on the internet to remind me of what this country used to be like prior to your socialist infiltration.  I posted a quote on here because it was inspiring and helped me to stand tall with hopes that we will be able to fight you all down.  

You should be ashamed of yourself, Watch.  This country is the greatest on earth and so, you all want to change it to socialism and to trash anything patriotic.    Freedom and Liberty are the answer to the human condition.

i prefer them home myself.  freedom and liberty. more slogans from the GOP. you should wear a black arm band for what your party has done to this ONCE great coutnry. but dont worry, the Dems will get it back to where it belongs.  no more torture, no more crapping on the constitution, no more illegal wiretapping of our own citiznes, no more under equipped servicemen, no more stepping on the necks of poor kids. we will earn our respect back, earn our honor and dignity, earn our leadership role back.  you can feel safeer with the dems in charge. we qare going to get BACK into the fight with the real enemy.
