Rudy Giuliani's presidential committee on Wednesday morning unveiledits national campaign, dubbed ''Viva Rudy,'' to reach the nation'sHispanic voters.

TheMiami event kicked off with an 11 a.m. news conference at La Carrettarestaurant on Bird Road in Westchester. There was a similar event inOrlando.

Giuliani was not present.

Several local politicians and public officials were on hand to endorse the former New York City mayor.

A 30-inch-by-50-inch Viva Rudy sign hung on the wall in a private second-floor room.

State Rep. Rene Garcia, statewide Hispanic chairman for Giuliani's campaign, was at the event.
''TheHispanic community has long been forgotten in many elections. In 2000,we realized how important the Hispanic vote is,'' he said.

Fifteen supporters were in the room.
''He believes in education and helping our children complete globally,'' Miami-Dade School Board member Marta Perez said.

I can not support this cross dressing clown, he would be a good attorney general but he is so far  from reality on immigration that he needs to bow out gracefully and maybe have a shot at VP or something.

Rudy wants to sue gun manufacturers out of business, lived with two homosexuals after his divorce, is pro abortion, pro big spending government. And this is the the front runner? The polls are bogus, don't believe them.

I believe that illegal immigration is THE key issue in this race.  How, then, can it be that Rudy is still tops in the polls.  He does well in the debates; he has great charisma; he's a great leader; he speaks well and manages to hide his major flaws.  But he is not a conservative.  I hesitate to even consider him a Republican.  He loves illegal immigration, hates the 2nd Amendment, and has half a dozen other positions which are incompatible with conservatism.  He's done great things as Mayor of NYC, and I actually like him as a person -- but I cannot conceive of him as our next president.

Who responds to the polls that continually place him at the top?  Are there that many Americans who vote Republican but who aren't conservative; Or, are they just in the dark about Rudy's actual positions?

How do we get this guy off the Republican ticket?  Only McCain would be worse as a Republican Nominee.

LOL, this isn't such a great campaign theme for a Republican primary contender, but that's the Rudy I've come mto love and embrace.....now we just have to figure out how to make him go away.

Antidote? Mitt Romney (weak one)....Fred Thompson ( wake up!).....someone a little less "RINO".

Viva le Duncan Hunter!
