Well, that is not unique to liberal teachers. I had a prof at Auburn 26 years ago who graded you on how your views matched his own. We all knew that we would have to parrot back his views on tests and papers. We had some of our best discussions and learning sessions outside of class. But, I had a liberal prof there who encouraged us to disagree with him. There were all sorts of types back then. Maybe now, there are just one type....
