The RATS refuse to open up the most lucrative drilling areas in the country while we are paying over $4.00 a gallon. Even if we decided to run our cars on 100% 'alternative' fuel it is going to take a decade to get there and with the population growing like it has been our use of oil is going to keep going up.

It will take longer than 10 years to break our oil addiction, with China and India growing like they are gas prices could double from todays price in a few short years without bringing more oil into the marketplace.


Cap and trade is a joke and will kill the US economy within a year of its introduction. Government revenues will sink bigtime and more taxes will bury us into bankruptcy.  We have a half Trillion deficit right now, what the hell are these clowns thinking with cap and trade?
