I am increasingly perplexed by Drafter's usage of the English language.


It sounds a lot like English, but I can't understand any of it.

Back on topic.  

A. I believe that America has but one true enemy - the Media.

People generally don't have time to research issues, they don't have time to listen to Rush in the middle of the day, they know only what the media tells them, and most people simply absorb and believe it all.

The Mainstream Media CONTROLS Public Sentiment.

B. America's Second enemy is really something created by the first.  The Control by Leftists of what is taught in our Public Schools, and in Universities.

Again, Consider Lincoln:

C. Unless control of these things, the Media and the Schools, is wrested from the Leftists, America's future is certain, and it is certainly very, very BAD.

Seeing how they appease the terrorists and commit acts of treason with their biased yellow journalism it is patently clear that the controlled media --- OK, "drive-bys" --- want American defeat because their hatred of the war on terror is rooted in their irrational partisan hatred toward President Bush.  The controlled media have hated President Bush since we the people stopped letting the media select presidents like they did twice during the 1990s --- therefore the controlled media, because we the people have challenged their power by ourown activism and by the rise and rise of independent media.  The controlled media seek government BY FOR AND OF THE MEDIA, whilst we seek government BY the people FOR the people OF the people NOT THE MEDIA.

Without a doubt they want this war lost and they care nothing about the results and the consequences should that happen. They are biased, and they are aligned with the socialist left. These are the same people during the 60's who protested against the "establishment" but are now part of that group and are permanently ensconched in our universities and positions of authority and leadership. They are addicted with their newfound power and they will attempt all means to keep it.

A brief example of deliberate selective reporting; On Fox News the death of two men was announced. One of these men was the former Governor of Ohio. This man served two terms and I had never heard of him, but it was reported by Fox News that he had sent  The National Guard out  against students protesting at Kent State University and four were shot dead. This happened in 1972. I was 8 yrs old and I recall having the song "Ohio" by Crosby,Stills,Nash & Young" in my head. (The song was about that event) The press reported then that Nixon was to blame for that but  now it's only Fox News revealing that it was the Governor of Ohio that sent the Guard and not President Nixon.

These are the same liberals who reported on the Vietnam war, salivated over John Kerry's claim of atrocities of our troops against the Vietnamese, pushed the agenda of the socialist left, and now downplay and dismiss any positive operations done in aid of a tragedy (California wildfires) as being like hurricane Katrina that hit the gulf coast region.

These are the same people that deliberately suppressed reports of Saddam's attrocities against his people during the 80's so they could stay in Iraq so regardless of what they say, they have little regard for any innocent who suffers under tyrrany. Oh don't forget that the war was "REAL" for them when one of their own was injured in an attack in an Iraqi convoy of humvees. After he was out, in the hospital and now recovered, business as usual!

So yes they want to lose this war. They hate George W. Bush and they want to change this country into something that it never was meant to be. They refuse to see and recognize that a socialist system of governing will not be compatible with an Islamic caliphate. That is the ultimate goal of the Radical Islamic Fundamentalists.
The liberal media will be killed by the sword along with the socialists they follow if this war is not allowed to be fought and won.

The other day Robert Redford gave a speech where he said the American media was supposed to challenge the government. Um, no, their job is to report the news in an honest way, regardless of who it challenges. But that's the mindset many have in the media. They are put on Earth to tear down Republican leaders any way they can.

Yes, you're right, they hope we lose, just like they wanted us to lose in Vietnam. "supporting the troops but not the mission" - wonder if that would have worked for George Washington?

The words of a thespian mean nothing. Oh yes they mocked Ronald Reagan and said he would start WW III.
In some respects they have been concilliatory to Arnold Schwartzenegger but any other person in their profession is scorned and vilified. They hawk about global warming and saving the animals but continue to live their lavish lifestyles despite their sanctimonious preaching to the rest of us. I heard that Barbra Streisand's house (one of them) was destroyed in the California wildfire.  This might be mean but I have no remorse for her. Too many good people have lost everything and are suffering because of what she and her idealogues advocate for the rest of us but refuse to subject themselves to it.

The media banks on defeat. The surge is working and they don't even mention it. They were falling over themselves about the recent bin Laden video and commenting how his appearance had changed. People still howl about General Shinseki being fired and I have to set them straight on the fact that he was not. I stated that his appointed term was at an end and he had submitted his retirement paperwork long before his troop requirement statements. I had to tell this to a so-called Army Commissioned Officer.

And they think the enlisted members (as I was but not of that branch) are stupid!

I heard some time ago that they changed the requirements for determining what constituted a Weapon Of Mass Destruction. You have individuals downplaying the risk of the stored mustard gas and vx nerve agents because of the long expired shelf life.
They didn't consider the stuff a threat but you take an explosive device laden with nerve agent, you have a very dangerous weapon of destructible capacity, especially if the blast is airborne. What I had read was that during the first WTC bombing, the nerve agent burned away in the blast because they did not apply it right with the ammonium nitrate. thousands of people would have died.

So, I know the mainstream media ignored that factoid. They dismiss the threats against us, especially Iran.
Could have spit fire over them fawning over Mahmoud Ahmadinejad while he was invited to Columbia University to speak. As par for the course, he says one thing here in public, something  different at the UN podium, but the true motive comes out when he speaks to his oppressed masses in Iran.

This media knows no shame, no limits and will not see beyond their own bias. They used to have a monopoly on the minds of the people but not anymore. Thanks to Rush, talk radio and the free market anyone can find the truth and the facts. Any conservative like Rush, Sean, Laura can go to Iraq or Afghanistan, talk to the troops there and they know the truth will be reported.

This liberal media is blinded by their own bias. All their comments against the President and the Administration would not go unpunished if the same were done under an oppressive regime.

I don't think they'll get it unless they report something that the Clintons , Soros or the DNC want's to keep hidden.
Heads won't roll but there will be some censorship and suppression of their speach, yet they're okay with that.

Has anyone read this book by Col. Robert "Buzz" Patterson -- War Crimes: The Left's
Campaign to Destroy Our Military and Lose the War on Terror


I heard Co. Patterson speak on C-Span, and I plan to buy this book a.s.a.p..

This is the same guy who wrote "Dereliction of Duty" about the Clinton Administration policies to weaken our military.

He represents the views of most military commanders and is able to write these books only because he's retired.

Apparently much of his new book is based on interviews with soldiers in Iraq & Afghanistan and their views on the Fifth Column here in the U.S..

I'd love to get someone else's opinion of this book.

I shall watch for that book.
