But I digress. Is there not any room here for objective thinking. Or are Ditto heads a nation of parrots? I think you are better then that.

Are you are so partisan that only the "other" parties guy should be impeached? You are so partisan that your guys Bush and Cheny are beyond reproach or the law?

In any case, just turn of the TV and let the free market decide.

These numbers get thrown around enough to make my head spin.  The most current Newsweek Poll shows Bush with a 28% approval rating and that 63% of people disapprove of his job.  Now, we all know that many conservatives and liberals and independents disapprove of Bush but for very different reasons.  Liberals call him a fascist and want to try him for war crimes.  Conservatives think he is a sell-out on domestic issues and think he has done a poor job of managing the war and just want him gone.  But, don't pretend that everyone disapproves of Bush for the same reason or reasons or to the same degree.  It obviously isn't so.  But, to be objective, Bush was an effective and popular governor of the State of Texas.

Bush has not committed an impeachable offense.  If he had, this Congress would have impeached him.  Of that nobody should have any doubt.  Clinton committed perjury and obstruction of justice and lost his license to practice law for 5 years because of his actions when found in contempt of court.

Sorry Ultracon,

I assumed you were a neocon. Many neo's I know still love Bush so I assumed he was your man.

I dont agree with KO but Bush sold snake oil to the American people. Bush and Cheney misled us and used intimidation and half truths to justify thier ill fated war. They even outed a CIA op. Over 4,000 American soldiers are dead, tens of thousands more wounded or disabled. The same for tens of thousands of Iraqis.

I'm angry over this waste of national treasure and blood. I undestand KO's anger. I understand the desire to impeach Bush. I dont agree with it but I'm in sympathy with the idea.

However, I wish we could impeach Bush for reckless incompetence for needlessly waging war, running up a outrageous deficit and growing Government to the largest size since WWII . If only to put on notice the next cowboy commander and chief that rolls into office.

Good grief, get over Valerie Plame.  To this date the CIA cannot answer inquiries from Congress as to Plame's alleged "covert status."  There are numerous posts demonstrating this fact on this web site.  Any reasonable effort on Google would demonstrate this unequivocally.

Richard Armitage is the person who told Robert Novak that Plame worked for the CIA.  Armitage was an anti-war, anti-Bush employee of the State Department.  Fitzgerald, the special persecutor, knew Armitage was the person who told Novak about Plame before he even began investigating the White House staff.  This is all documented.  If I hear one more person make this ridiculous claim I will immediately put them on ignore.

So I'm a liberal because I don't like the fact the the Bush adminisration was involved in the outing of Valerie Plame. Please explain Lews Libby's conviction and his immediate pardon. Smells like he took one for the team. Smells like a cover up to me.

I've read the articles and documentation. It is a complex story. But who really believes the media anyway. Most of it is spin and there is alot of spin on the Valerie Plame case.

I'm a Libertarian. I stand for limited government, not one that invents wars, increases government and interferes with our freedoms. Just because I don't agree with the Bush administration or Republicans, doesn't make me a liberal.

I'm feeling it is pretty black and white here. Is there any room for moderate thinking?

By the way, how is it that Keith Oberman is considered "Drive By Media" bit Bill O'Rielly is not?
Thom Hartman a "Drive by" guy but Sean Hannity isn't?

Oh, I get it. Conservative talk show hosts tell nothing but the truth while all liberals are liars.

These guys are all spin masters for thier respective wings.

I do not buy that you are a Libertarian moderate.  You are very accomplished at changing the subject and throwing in liberal talking points.  I believe you are a pretender.    I have gone thru and picked out some of your masterfully placed comments in and around your masterfully placed declarations of being a Liberian.  This thread was about Keith Olbermann and whether people should send him a message.  This post was not about Valerie Plame and the Bush Administration.  Nor was it about any of these various things you placed throughout your replies:

I believe a true patriot must be willing (even predisposed) to inspect the motives and wisdom of leadership irrespective of political affiliation.

Little of what is seen or heard on his show is news (much like CM, BO and RL)...it's rhetoric...devised, written and expressed for an audience happy to accept what he says as fact. It's a different brand of manure that works in its own field.

Bush. And I knew the later, who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, who failed running a baseball team and an oil company was not competent enough to run a country. And about 70% of Americans now agree that Bush has done yet another poor job.

Or are Ditto heads a nation of parrots? I think you are better then that.

The first two outes in this carefully researched response are mine while the others belong to someone else and each of mine applies specifically to the subject at hand.

I copied them right out of your posts.  Please stay on topic.  It makes discussion too difficult when the subject has been lost and the thread is bouncing all over the place like a headless vector.

Dude you are wrong. ONLY the first two lines were actually written by me and they were spot on topic. The rest were written by someone else.

Sorry, you are right.  My original request to stay on topic was for modmindman, not you.  You replied to it and I never noticed you were not modmindman; however, I included your comments on that post as well, and it shows how difficult it is to follow who is saying what to whom and what the subject is.    Please everyone just stay on topic and then we won't have these epistles that are confusing to follow.  The topic was Keith Olbermann.    If you want to write about something else, then create a new post.

Oh, and Dude, I am not a Dude.  You can call me Mum or you can call me Ma'am like you would if you respected someone of my superior age.
