I'm a relatively new Rush listener (since 2001), but I'm having withdrawal symptoms since I can't listen at work.  I got the nickname on a trip to Israel last summer with Michael Medved and family.  Also a brand-new blogger, at all-illiterate-now.blogspot.com.

I recommend you check out the Rush's 24/7 web site.  The membership is cheap and you can listen to Rush whenever you choose.

I'd get that but it wouldn't serve me any purpose because I'm in school from 8 am til around 2:45 pm and hes on from 12:00pm to 3:00pm which would serve me nothing considering when i get in the car and put it on its just ads and he closes

I am a member of Rush 24/7, and have spoken to him on the radio (August, 2005, just after Katrina), and had my e-mail read aloud once.  Since I can't listen at work, I download the podcasts onto my iPod and listen later.  I just got into a vanpool, so I'll be able to listen on the way to and from work.
Rush is the MOST gracious guy, and he carries on a wonderful conversation, not just using the caller as a reason for a monologue.
Query to members:  If you could have a small dinner party with Rush as the honored guest, who else would you invite?  Assume you can include anyone you want.
My choices:  Rabbi Daniel and Susan Lapin, Michael and Diane Medved (all of whom live around here), my local friends Karen and Dennis, and my husband (who introduced me to Rush on the radio).
