That the bleaching of the Great Barrier Reef, blamed on (of course) Global Warming, has actually been found to be caused by a common ingredient in sunscreens.

All those folks diving the reefs, seeing large swathes of dead coral, and lamenting the damage our evil human civilization has done to this natural wonder.  Never realizing (and even now never admitting) that they were the ones doing the damage.

I DIDNT KNOW THAT. yes HURRICANES, CORAL REEF PROBLEMS, HIGH GAS PRICES, EXCESSIVE ARMPIT HAIR, HIGH CAR INSURANCE PAYMENTS, EVERYTHING, EVERY PROBLEM in the world VAGUELY RELATED TO THE ENVIRONMENT(AND NOT) is AUTOMATICALLY BLAMED on "ALGORE SYNDROME". This morning I was at a stop light, my window rolled down so I could enjoy the nice weather.

On the sidewalk next to my car, there was this 300 lb blob of a woman, festooned in hemp and reeking of patchouli. She had the gall to sneer at me, "You gotta drive around alone in that gas guzzling death contraption? It's your fault gas prices are so high!"

I threw my cup of coffee at her and sped off, leaving her in a cloud of exhaust.



I don't think she was badly burned or anything. Probably improved the smell, too.

My gas guzzling death contraption, F-150 4x4, and I will survive a collision with a Prius, and keep going. The Prius will be demolished and the planet loving occupants, well you know. Of course this is a perfect example of liberalism. I have an unfair advantage to survive in my F-150. We should all drive a Prius so we all have an equal chance of death in a collision.

Every time I get in my yellow Hummer I almost hope I get in an accident with some pansy driving a hybrid, just so there's one less on the planet... don't want to scratch up my paint, though!

frig 'em if they can't afford the gas. Maybe THEY shouldn't be driving? At least I'm doing my part to stimulate the economy. What are they contributing?
