Remember when the drive bys were saying "this will be remembered as the most amazing congress in history"?

"Voters not affiliated with either party are the most critical of Congressional performance. Just 3% of those voters give Congress positive ratings, down from 6% last month. Sixty-three percent (63%) believe Congress is doing a poor job, up from 57%. "

So much for Obama's independent appeal.

The GOP should be hammering this point home - to help us win seats.  What is wrong with the GOP leadership?  This is a democrat congress!!

Why would the GOP crow about this?? they are the Obstructionists that are the cause of this do little Congress(the last GOP run congress was the Do NOTHING congress of course) . and Once the war is OVER in Iraq the Dems rating will skyrocket.  However, the GOP rating will stay at about 6, where it belongs.

Dems in congress rate higher than the GOP in congress. Too bad, so Sad.

Again you are making conclusions without one single shred of evidence to back up what you are saying.  I don't care what you want to say, single digit approval of Congress, no matter the party is pathetic.  That means that no matter who they are or what their party affiliation is, they are not doing the people's work.

Since the Democrats hold the majority, they get the major hit on this.  Nancy Pelosi promised to stop earmarks and they are as bad or worse than ever. Nancy Pelosi promised the most ethical Congress yet it is as corrupt as ever.  BTW..William Jefferson got to stay in Congress despite his indictment that apparently is taking a millenium to bring to trial.   Nancy Pelosi promised to fix the "price of gas at the pump problem;" it has doubled since she took over.  Nancy Pelosi held up the wiretapping bill making us less safe.  Nancy Pelosi has tabled the Columbian Free Trade Agreement which  which hurts no one but the American manufacturers and workers.  

Republican obstructionism has been the only thing keeping this Congress from turning us into the USSA and even that obstructionism hasn't been 100%.  When the Republicans had the majority, the Democrats did everything possible to obstruct everything as well and what was worse was that 14 RINOs were in tandem with them.

Oh, fer crying out loud. How counterintuitive - if the war was such a big crucial issue, the anti-war party's ratings would've already risen. They've been in charge for over a year, and that hasn't happened, now has it?

Yes. In the poll it said that Republicans rated at 8% and the Dems rated at 13%. Congrats.

I wonder if all the sheep out there who think this Congress is being run by Republicans would have a different opinion if they found out Congress is being run by the CDNC?  I sincerely doubt it.
